The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Rape, incest and life of the mother.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
I believe that America's Founders understood that while people are crafted in God's image, He created them with inherent flaws. By carefully defining, limiting and separating powers in the Constitution, this prevents someone driven by evil intentions from obtaining too much power.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My Catholic faith is extremely important to me and it defines my values.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I'm a member of the House Pro-life Caucus and have a 100 percent pro-life voting record. I've voted to send a defund Planned Parenthood and repeal Obamacare bill to the president's desk. I've voted every time to repeal Obamacare. I introduced and was successful in getting a bill to repeal part of Obamacare (H.R. 22, the Hire More Heroes Act) signed into law. I've also stood up for religious freedom by introducing a bill (EACH Act) to exempt people who choose not to use our health care system because of religious beliefs from being forced to purchase health insurance under Obamacare. This bill has passed the House and awaiting Senate action. I am a supporter and defender of the 2nd Amendment. I have fought back against President Obama's anti-2nd Amendment legislation. I've voted to force our government to be more fiscally responsible by voting for budgets and appropriations bills that cut trillions and reform our entitlement programs that are the true drivers of our debt.
