QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Agree

I support directing public health dollars toward providers who offer the same preventive and reproductive care without also performing abortions. Federal law already bars direct funding of abortion itself. My concern is the broader relationship, not defunding healthcare access.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Legal protection for a child shouldn't depend on the circumstances of conception. That said, medical care that indirectly ends a pregnancy to save the mother's life is a different thing entirely. That isn't elective abortion, and nothing here is meant to restrict it.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

This is the consistent standard I apply across both abortion and the death penalty.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Agree

Laws should stay in force until Congress changes them. If people disagree with a law, the fix is repeal, not selective enforcement of laws still on the books.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

The minimum wage issue is a symptom of a greater problem. The true issue is currency debasement and the rising cost of living. A higher minimum wage will not fix purchasing power lost to inflation.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Require every state program to justify its full budget from zero each cycle, not just changes from last year. Give the state a truly independent inspector general with subpoena power and public reporting requirements. End the practice of the state imposing costly mandates on municipalities without funding them. Local taxpayers shouldn't be footing the bill for Harrisburg's decisions.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The phrase itself isn't in the Constitution. The actual text is the Establishment Clause and Free Exercise Clause: the government can't establish a religion, and it can't stop people from practicing theirs. That's what it means to me.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

A private entity that doesn't receive public funding shouldn't be compelled to serve anyone if, in doing so, it would violate its moral or religious beliefs. That obligation only makes sense once public money is involved.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C. I support keeping Medicaid and Medicare, but I'm skeptical that more government-funded healthcare programs would help. Guaranteed government money tends to drive up the cost of what it's paying for, the same pattern you see with student loans and tuition. I'd rather expand access through market reforms and expanding what nurse practitioners and physician assistants can do, especially in rural areas, than through more government coverage.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

This is a serious privacy and government overreach concern.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

China's military buildup, state-sponsored cyberattacks on US infrastructure, and theft of American intellectual property are well documented.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

US foreign policy should serve American interests first, not be automatic or unconditional toward Israel or any other ally.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Disagree

I personally oppose sanctuary city policies. But courts have consistently held the federal government can't force local governments to enforce federal immigration law. At the state level, I would oppose adopting sanctuary policies in Pennsylvania.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

Functions like civil rights enforcement and student loans can move to agencies already equipped for them, like DOJ and Treasury. Education funding itself should go to states as block grants, not another federal department.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments shouldn't be funding American schools and universities, full stop.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

Marriage as a religious sacrament is between one man and one woman, and government has no authority over that. Civil marriage, as government defines it, is a legal and tax structure, and that's a separate question from the religious one.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe every person has worth that comes from God, not from government, and that shapes how I think about life, family, and how I treat people. I try to hold onto that whether it's convenient or not. My faith is where my sense of duty comes from, whether that's in office, on a field coaching kids, or just in how I try to treat my neighbors. Authority is supposed to protect people, not control them. That's the standard I try to live by.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

Voters should be required to show photo ID. If someone can't at the time they vote, they should cast a provisional ballot that counts once they provide ID within a short window afterward.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

I have three daughters, and I coach girls' soccer. I've seen what fair competition and safe spaces actually mean for young women. Sports and private spaces for women should be based on biological sex, no exceptions.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Agree

The science on human-caused warming is real, I don't dispute that. Where I differ is on the word 'urgent' and what it's used to justify. I'd rather see practical steps, like expanding nuclear power, than sweeping mandates that cost a lot and deliver little.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear. It's reliable, low-emission, and can actually keep up with growing electricity demand without the gaps wind and solar have.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal of the criminal justice system should be public safety above all else. The justice system exists to protect the public first. Accountability and rehabilitation matter, but neither should come at the cost of public safety.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

American law should be based on the Constitution alone. No religious legal system, including Sharia, should be incorporated into US law.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None needed beyond what's already on the books. I'd rather see existing law enforced well than pile on new restrictions. I'd eliminate Pennsylvania's redundant PICS system since NICS already covers background checks, and I oppose red flag laws that remove a person's rights without due process.
