RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Disagree
Taxpayer dollars should be used in accordance with applicable law and appropriate safeguards, but organizations that provide preventive care, family planning, reproductive healthcare, screenings, and other essential health services should remain eligible for public funding for those lawful services. Women (particularly those with limited healthcare options) should not lose access to needed care because of a political disagreement over one service a provider offers.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
A woman should have the freedom to make deeply personal decisions about her own life, health, and body in consultation with her healthcare provider, without unnecessary government interference.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Disagree
Human life has inherent dignity and deserves respect and protection, but I do not believe government should impose an absolute legal standard from conception until natural death. These deeply personal decisions can involve complex questions of health, faith, family, and individual liberty, and our laws should protect life while also respecting personal autonomy and medical judgment.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Choose not to answer
Human embryos deserve thoughtful and responsible consideration, but I do not support an absolute legal standard that could interfere with IVF or treat an embryo as legally equivalent to a born person. Decisions involving fertility treatment and embryo disposition are deeply personal and medically complex and should remain primarily with patients, families, and their physicians, subject to appropriate ethical and medical safeguards.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Choose not to answer
I support appropriate medical standards and safeguards for all medications, including those used in reproductive healthcare. However, I do not support using federal law to broadly restrict access to lawful reproductive healthcare. These deeply personal decisions should be made by women in consultation with their healthcare providers, based on their individual medical circumstances and within the law.
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
I support a responsible approach to raising wages that considers housing, childcare, transportation, and other everyday costs and ensures that economic growth creates greater opportunity for the people doing the work.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Agree
Free enterprise and private property rights are important foundations of a strong economy. As a small-business owner and property owner, I understand the value of entrepreneurship, ownership, and investment. I also believe those rights come with responsibilities. A productive economy requires fair rules, responsible development, and accountability so that economic growth creates opportunity while respecting neighboring property owners, taxpayers, and the communities in which businesses operate.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
(1) Requiring measurable community returns for tax incentives and economic-development investments; (2) Calculating the full infrastructure and public-service costs of major projects before committing taxpayer dollars; (3) Strengthening auditing, oversight, and public reporting for state contracts and expenditures; (4) Eliminating unnecessary duplication through better state-local coordination; and (5) regularly evaluating programs to ensure taxpayer dollars are producing results.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
To me, separation of church and state means government should neither establish a religion nor prevent people from freely practicing their faith. My faith is an important part of who I am and shapes the values I bring to public service, but holding public office means representing everyone—people of every faith and people of no faith. Government should protect religious freedom while ensuring that no one is favored or excluded because of what they believe.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Choose not to answer
Religious and moral convictions deserve protections must be balanced with the rights of others. No one should be forced to abandon sincerely held beliefs simply because they enter the workplace or marketplace. At the same time, businesses serving the public should comply with generally applicable laws and should not use religious belief as a blanket justification for denying people equal access to goods and services. Religious liberty and equal treatment are both fundamental principles.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
B) I believe affordable healthcare should be accessible to everyone, and people should have choices in how they obtain their coverage. A strong public option can provide access and affordability for those who need or choose it, while individuals who prefer private insurance should retain that option. The goal should be a healthcare system where quality care is accessible and families are not priced out of necessary treatment.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Choose not to answer
I support using reliable, anonymized public-health data to understand healthcare costs, identify trends, and make better policy decisions. However, I do not support maintaining a government database that unnecessarily identifies individuals by their medical conditions. Personal health information deserves strong privacy protections. Government can assess the economic burden of disease without creating an intrusive registry of individual patients.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Agree
The U.S. must take seriously threats to our national security, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and economic interests, regardless of where those threats originate. We should protect American infrastructure, technology, businesses, and sensitive information from foreign interference or exploitation. At the same time, our response should be strategic, fact-based, and focused on protecting American interests rather than treating people of Chinese heritage or nationality with suspicion.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
The United States’ relationship with Israel is important, as are our relationships with allies and partners throughout the region. That relationship should support security, diplomacy, and the pursuit of lasting peace while recognizing the human rights, safety, and dignity of both Israelis and Palestinians. I believe American leadership should encourage peaceful solutions, protect innocent civilians, oppose terrorism and antisemitism, and remain grounded in our democratic values and respect
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Choose not to answer
I believe immigration policy should be lawful, humane, and practical. Local law enforcement must be able to protect public safety while building enough trust for victims and witnesses to report crimes without fear. We should respect the law and due process while treating every person with dignity and pursuing sensible immigration reform at the federal level.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Choose not to answer
States and local communities should have a strong voice in their schools, but strengthening local control does not require eliminating the U.S. Department of Education. We should reduce unnecessary bureaucracy while preserving federal resources, student protections, special-education support, and safeguards that help ensure every child has access to a quality education, regardless of ZIP code.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Neutral
American education should remain independent of foreign government control or undue influence. Foreign governments should not be permitted to use funding to shape curriculum, research, institutional decisions, or access sensitive information. At the same time, legitimate academic exchanges and research partnerships should remain possible when they are transparent, properly disclosed, and protect academic independence.
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Agree
Parents and guardians are essential partners in their children’s health, education, and development and deserve transparency, meaningful involvement, and a voice in important decisions. Those rights also carry responsibilities and should be balanced with protecting a child’s safety, legal rights, well-being, and access to an appropriate education and necessary care.
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Choose not to answer
Child abuse is a serious legal determination that should be based on evidence of actual abuse or neglect, not applied categorically to complex questions involving a child’s identity or healthcare. Families facing these circumstances should be able to work with qualified medical and mental-health professionals while keeping the child’s safety and well-being at the center of those decisions.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Choose not to answer
My faith is deeply important to me, and I respect the right of religious traditions to define marriage according to their beliefs. Civil law, however, must provide equal protection to all citizens. Government should neither dictate religious doctrine nor deny legally married couples equal treatment under the law because their marriage differs from another person’s religious beliefs.
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Choose not to answer
Any proposal to expand gambling in Georgia should be evaluated carefully based on its economic benefits, social costs, regulatory structure, and impact on families and communities. I would not support expansion simply to generate additional revenue. Any proposal must include strong consumer protections, responsible-gaming safeguards, transparency, and a clear public benefit.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My faith in God is foundational to who I am and how I serve. It teaches me grace, compassion, humility, honesty, and accountability, and reminds me that every person has dignity and worth. I believe faith is demonstrated through how we treat people, especially those who are vulnerable, overlooked, or without a voice. Public service, to me, means showing up, keeping my word, serving others, and being accountable when I fall short.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Neutral
Every eligible citizen should be able to exercise the right to vote without unnecessary barriers. Election security and voter access are not competing goals. I support reliable methods of verifying voter eligibility and identity, but those requirements should be reasonable, accessible, and provide alternatives when a voter does not have photo identification. The goal should be secure elections in which every eligible vote can be cast and counted.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Choose not to answer
I believe we must honestly confront the lasting effects of discrimination and policies that denied generations of Americans equal opportunity to build wealth. I support addressing documented inequities through policies that expand opportunity, homeownership, education, economic mobility, and access to capital. Any reparative policy should be carefully designed around demonstrated harm and effective remedies rather than race alone.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Choose not to answer
Disagree with a one-size-fits-all rule. I believe everyone deserves dignity and equal treatment, while recognizing legitimate concerns about privacy, safety, and fairness. Sports, schools, shelters, correctional facilities, and other settings present different circumstances and should not all be governed by a single blanket policy. Decisions should be lawful, practical, evidence-based, and designed to protect the rights, safety, and dignity of everyone involved.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Agree
Climate change poses real risks to Coastal Georgia, including stronger storms, flooding, extreme heat, and increasing strain on infrastructure and natural resources. We should act responsibly by strengthening resilient infrastructure, protecting our coast and waterways, expanding affordable clean energy and efficiency, and ensuring that working families do not bear a disproportionate share of the costs.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Reliability requires a diversified energy portfolio. Georgia should expand renewables like solar, invest in storage and efficiency, modernize the grid, and maintain dependable generation to meet growing demand without shifting costs to families.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Lean Liberal
My views are generally center-left, but I approach each issue on its merits rather than through an ideological label. I believe in individual rights and equal opportunity, strong public schools and services, reproductive freedom, environmental stewardship, public safety, responsible economic growth, small businesses, fiscal accountability, and government that is transparent, practical, and responsive to the people it serves.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The goal should be justice, accountability, and safer communities. That means holding people accountable when they cause harm, treating victims with dignity, and enforcing the law fairly, while also investing in prevention, mental health and substance-use treatment, youth intervention, rehabilitation, and reentry. A strong system should reduce crime and repeat offenses—not simply punish people and send them back into communities without a path forward.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Agree
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation online while respecting constitutional rights and privacy. That includes holding predators accountable, strengthening law enforcement’s ability to investigate exploitation, requiring responsible safeguards from technology platforms, supporting victims, and giving parents better tools to protect their children online.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Agree
The U.S. Constitution and laws enacted under it must remain the governing legal authority. No religious legal system (Sharia law or otherwise) should supersede American law or constitutional rights. At the same time, the First Amendment protects every person’s right to practice their faith freely, including Muslims, so long as those practices comply with the law.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I support responsible gun ownership while recognizing government’s duty to protect public safety. We should enforce existing laws, keep firearms out of the hands of violent offenders and others legally prohibited from possessing them, and pursue evidence-based measures that address gun violence while respecting the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens. Prevention and accountability must work together.
