As a Christian, I believe in life. But I can't legislate based on my faith. So I will promote programs that incentivize women to keep their baby, and remove barriers for them. But I cannot criminalize or take away a women's right to choose her medical care or make her own choices.

Organizations like Planned Parenthood provide low-cost medical services to those who need it most. Unless the state is willing to pay more money to fund all of this, they need to support programs that will offer it, regardless of the other services they provide. We can't hurt those in poverty...

I honestly don't know enough about this program to provide an informed opinion about this.

I cannot support outlawing abortion in Indiana. It hurts those in poverty, and all of those exceptions like rape, sexual abuse, babies that would not survive, and those that cannot support another mouth to feed. Ultimately, it needs to be the mother's choice. But I believe in funding programs to remove every barrier and promote abortion.

Maintaining of minimum wage of $7.25 allows businesses to take advantage of people, to the point where they have to live on welfare programs. Ensuring businesses do their part, and creating a welfare and disability program that is tiered, allowing people to actually work their way out of poverty, allows the state to provide a livable income for everyone while offering incentives for people to get out poverty.

I think that this depends on the type of degree. For professions that are necessary for the common good and don't make a lot of money (teachers, nurses, doctors, social workers, etc.), college needs to be guaranteed. Other degrees, like business degrees, architects, etc. that make good money in the business world don't necessarily need paid for. Also, promoting free college for everyone over-incentives people to go to college that would do better at trade schools, apprenticeships, etc.

Military, tax-breaks, school vouchers, energy costs. We need to re-evaluate programs that don't work, like jails, private voucher system, how Department of Child Services functions, etc. We need to make our money work smarter.

I actually believe that only certain beliefs and religions are being protected or promoted. We need actual freedom of religion and THAT should be protected. Jesus never promoted legal protections either.

The state shouldn't be able to make laws to try and make people follow any specific religion. And the government shouldn't punish or go after anyone for following a religion they don't believe in.

Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Universal healthcare actaully decreases the total cost of medical care by giving everyone the ability to access it earlier, so they don't spend as much later. It also extends life, leads to better work attendence and performance, and removes a heavy burden from those in poverty.

Covering everyone allows the goverment to lower medical costs. This happens because you remove the billions of unpaid medical bills from hospitals, so you negotiate lower rates for everything. You also go to pharmaceutical companies and say that if you want us to buy your drugs, this is the rate we will pay you for them, not your much higher rate. Covering everyone gives you so much buying power that you can negotiate much lower rates with everyone. This also helps businesses raise their wages because they don't have to cover medical costs anymore.

The best way to maintain peace is to have strong alliances with other countries so you can work together. You also need to distance from countries, like Israel, that are willing to commit terrible actions like genocide.

We need immigrants, because they support our economy and open businesses and create many new jobs. We need to change our immigration process to be extremely easy and fair. Taking 20 years to get into the country, because we keep lowering the amount of people we are willing to let in, only promotes illegal immigration. And we can't keep interfering and making other countries worse, like Palestine, and not accepting poeple fleeing those countries because of what we have done.

The laws of the USA are currently unfair and discriminatory towards rich people and white people. We need to fix the broken system, not go after those that are showing the system is broken. People want immigrants and the billions they pay in taxes each year, plus the money they pour into our economy.

We need background checks keep out people that are willing to commit violent crimes. But once we change the process to be fair, and give amnesty to those already here, people will be much more willing to cooperate with the authorities about immigrants who are committing violent crimes. Raise the immigration quotas and allow people in. They make us better, and we all came from immigrants.

America was founded by many different types of people who believed many different things. It was many years before black people were even considered a full person in the beginning. And, in America, we have done many terrible things that don't line up with Judeo-Christian morality. We murdered and stole from Native Americans, we burned people we thought were witches, we bought stolen people and used them as slaves. Freedom is what I choose to fight for, for all in America.

I am a Christian, and I believe in Jesus Christ and that he died on the cross for my sins. From his life, I belief that Jesus would not want me to create laws that force Christian values on people. Rather, my mission is to love others, and to treat them as Jesus would, in the hope my life brings them closer to Jesus. This is why I fostered and adopted children, why I'm getting my Social Work degree, and why I'm running for office to make the world a better place.

I believe that we need photo identification to ensure voting integrity. But I believe that we need to make it much easier and more convenient to get a state ID. For those that are homeless, in poverty, etc. we need to have mobile vehicles that come to people and help them with this. This will ensure voting integrity but also makes sure that anyone that is eligible to vote, should be able to get the documents needed to do so.

Yes, we are racially profiling people to single them out as the problem. This paves the way for domestic terrorism, as disillusioned people are used by terrorist groups.

Viewing those in poverty or need as the problem isn't working. It leads to overcrowded jails that we are all paying to house, while denying any help for people to get out of poverty. We have been, as a state, conservative for quite a while and things are not getting any better for those that aren't rich. It's time to do something different and actually work to solve our problems.

I am an Accountant. That means I can balance a budget and analyze which programs are working, and which aren't. I was also a foster parent that adopted a couple kids, so I have seen the child welfare program up close and know some of the changes that need to be made. I'm getting my Master's in Socal Work, so I've had a chance to work with people who need our help the most. And I'm tired of government coming up with solutions that just make more paperwork, but don't help people. We need to change how we look at the problems, and come up with some new solutions.

I believe that this creates too many problems. This can be triggering for kids, teachers shouldn't have to worry about having guns, and it shows kids that violence is a good solution. Instead, we need to provide better mental health care to everyone, especially kids, to deal with issues before they escalate to guns in schools.

We need background checks. We also need responsibility for securing firearms. For example, I don't think it's too much to require a gun lock for each gun sale, or holding parents that don't lock up their guns accountable if their child uses it. Also, we need to restrict automatic weapons. There is no reason for the average citizen to need them. A person can own 10,000 rifles rather than automatic weapons. It doesn't infringe on the right to bear arms...

This creates revenue, but also makes marijuana safer. Right now, it gets cut with other things that get people hooked on harder drugs or more deadly substances. Legalizing means that everything is inspected so you don't accidentally get marijuana laced with fentynol. We still have the option of DUIs for misuse.
