QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Disagree

Healthcare is a “human right,” I do not agree systems that restrict access due to “greed". Defunding clinics that serve low-income patients for contraception, STI testing, cancer screenings is not something I believe in.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I am aligned with labor, and healthcare-access groups. I support allowing elective abortion more broadly than Georgia’s current near-total ban (roughly six weeks with narrow exceptions). I am in favor of legal access at least into the second trimester with exceptions thereafter for health/life of the mother.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Neutral

I genuinely haven’t formed a firm public position and prefer to keep flexibility. As this is a case- by-case situation, I believe that a blanket answer will not address complexity of each situation.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

Human beings have inherent dignity and a right to life simply because they are human, not because of their current size, location (petri dish vs. uterus), level of development, sentience, or whether someone intends to implant them. Therefore, early embryos have the same basic moral claim against being intentionally killed as later-stage humans.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Disagree

I treat healthcare access (including reproductive care) as important as the ones that apply to human life across the board. I do oppose enforcing the Comstock Act in a way that blocks or restricts the mailing/interstate transport of FDA-approved abortion medications.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I support raising Georgia’s minimum wage above the current $7.25 federal rate.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

I agree with the core of the statement in the sense that free enterprise and the right to private property are essential to a productive economy. However, I would certainly add strong qualifications emphasizing limits on greed and the need to protect ordinary people.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1. Cutting red tape and bureaucratic barriers that drive up housing costs. 2. Stronger oversight and accountability to stop waste tied to greed or special interests. AMAG focuses on systems that exploit people for personal or corporate gain. I would push for better scrutiny of contracts, spending, and programs that benefit insiders more than the public. 3. Redirecting inefficient spending toward priorities that help working families, veterans, and children. Find out where our money went.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

I believe in practical kitchen-table issues and to me “separation of church and state” in the conventional modern sense is that the government should remain neutral toward religion, neither establishing an official religion nor unduly interfering with private religious practice.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Agree

When a business opens itself to the general public, it should serve everyone equally. Allowing religious or moral refusals is seen as enabling discrimination (especially against LGBTQ people, religious minorities, or others). Refusals can cause real harm, humiliation, and unequal treatment in the marketplace.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. Healthcare is obviously a human right, I took the National Nurses United “Patients Over Profits” pledge, and do not agree with corporate insurers, Big Pharma, and private hospitals for putting profits over patients and creating barriers like medical debt and insurance denials. I stand with prioritizing expanding access to care, especially mental health services.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Disagree

I support for expanding access and understanding barriers to care, so I favor better anonymous data collection to improve the system. However, the specific proposal of a government database of people with various illnesses would likely trigger privacy reservations and that is not something I support.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

As a retired U.S. Army captain with 18 years of service (including military intelligence), I have a professional military background that know who our great-power competitors are. CCP presents real challenges if they are not taken seriously and put people in place that really know what challenges we face.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

The U.S. relationship with Israel is moderately important in a conventional sense. The U.S.-Israel alliance matters for American security and shared interests, but in my current fight it is not a central issue the way I treat cost of living, working families, or community needs in context, but is still nonetheless important.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Agree

I put emphasis on protecting vulnerable and overlooked people from systems that are harmful and greedy. I support the existence of sanctuary cities (or at least oppose efforts to ban them). Local communities should not be forced to use their resources to assist federal immigration enforcement in ways that could separate families or create fear and oppression.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Disagree

I see eliminating the Department as risking cuts to support for vulnerable students and local schools, which is not the priority of protecting children and improving community outcomes.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

As a retired U.S. Army captain with military intelligence experience, I view foreign-government funding of U.S. education as a potential national-security or influence risk.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Agree

I affirm the statement as written, and this is consistent with my child-protection agenda, while leaving room for collaborative support systems.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Disagree

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My family did not grow up religious, but I do believe in faith-based leading in everything I do.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Agree

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Agree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Neutral

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Agree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

I believe that nuclear power is the most reliable energy source capable of supplying the growing demand for electricity. They operate at 90%+ of their rated capacity year-round. They provide steady baseload power regardless of weather or time of day.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

Never

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

Never

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal should be to impose punishment that is proportional to the moral wrongdoing of the crime (regardless of race). Offenders deserve to suffer consequences because they freely chose to violate the rights of others. Justice is served when the punishment “fits the crime,” independent of future benefits or how much money you bring to the table.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe all Law-abiding citizens have the right to keep and bear arms to protect themselves, their families, and what’s theirs. I stand on that as a veteran and citizen. At the same time, I accept recognition from Moms Demand Action as a 2026 “Gun Sense Candidate” for “standing strong against gun violence and fighting for common-sense gun safety.” I also support “Georgia Majority for gun safety” specifically in the context of protecting children and the innocent.
