First and foremost, the minimum wage must be set at a level that properly reflects the dignity of each individual and in relation to their basic needs. Second, It must account for inflation since the United States' removal from the gold standard.

1: stop corporate welfare and utility cost shifting. 2: End the property tax "referendum treadmill" by establishing a permanent, fiscally conservative endowment while auditing the school districts for bloated and unnecessary administrative costs. 3: Dismantle bloated state administrative preemption. 4: Streamline family assistance to reduce administrative bureaucracy.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
To me, separation of church and state means free exercise and equal protection of religious liberty separate and not under the jurisdiction of the state so long as it does not violate the rights of other. It also means no state religion or favored religion is allowed. I do believe this separation is somewhat misconstrued in modern times and also advocate for a Malta-style model of church-state relationship
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. I would view a database tracking chronically ill citizens to assess "economic burden" with deep moral suspicion and caution as it risks violating human dignity, the right to privacy, and the principle of subsidiarity. In modern bioethics, the Church warns that assessing the "burden of treatment" can easily slide into utilitarian policies—such as rationing care, denying life-prolonging treatments, or subtly encouraging euthanasia for people deemed too costly to keep alive

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Understanding the relationship is important. It is important to have mutually beneficial relationships with countries and governments that uphold and maintain (Christian) ethical values. However, while I believe there is significant importance in examining and contextualizing our relationship with Israel, the global socio-economic impacts of this relationship prove it to be parasitic and antithetical to the values and principles most important to Americans, especially Christians such as myself.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

I believe in the principle of subsidiarity, meaning matters should be solved at the most local level and only escalated to higher authorities when it is beyond the capability of more proximal ones. If localities prove their capability to handle undocumented migrants is ethical and sufficient, then policy implementation should remain within their jurisdiction. Conversely, if local government is not fulfilling its obligation to adequately protect its citizens, higher authorities must intervene.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

While I do believe education is also a relative matter of subsidiarity, I believe the costs of eliminating the U.S. Department of Education outweigh the benefits if done without prior equitable allocation plans. Programs like Title I and IDEA would shift to block grants and disbursed at the discretion of state governors, which provides greater uncertainty for students and families. It is more equitable to children/families to properly audit and reform the ED before attempting to dismantle it.

I completely agree with that statement, as it stems from the principle of subsidiarity. Conversely, pursuant to the principle of subsidiarity, it follows that government must also recognize when parents neglect or fail in fulfilling their essential duties to their children, as that constitutes a violation of the rights of the child. There must be a just baseline of essential duties that parents are held accountable to, and if this is sufficiently adhered to, state involvement is unwarranted.

Let me be clear. I firmly believe marriage is a God-ordained, sacred union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition. HOWEVER, using the term "legal/ legal union" implies the union as a matter of law, which inherently makes this a matter of government discretion. as a Catholic, I believe marriage is a sacrament. The usage of the term in purely legal/ civil matters is arbitrary to it's religious context, regardless of who get's married.

I am a Catholic, as such I value all that the magisterium teaches I should. I especially value the core principles of Catholic Social Teaching, those being: Life and dignity of the human person, the common good, subsidiarity, solidarity, the preferential option to the poor and vulnerable, the dignity of work and workers rights, care for creation (stewardship), and Call to Family, Community, and Participation.
Any mental health professional treating a patient with gender-identity or sexual-orientation issues should be required to affirm whatever the patient proclaims with regard to their identity.

My platform pairs socially conservative/traditional views with economically center-left, pro-worker economic interventions and localist policy. Labeling myself strictly as "conservative," "liberal," or even "moderate" misrepresents the ideological framework of Christian democracy and Catholic social teaching. I do believe arguments can be made that my economic positions are "paleoconservative", and that my unique Catholic framework resonates with both conservatives and liberals.

I believe the fundamental purpose of the criminal justice system is to maintain public peace and order while upholding the innate dignity of every human person through rehabilitation, restoration, and addressing the root causes of crime.
