QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Disagree

I disagree with the statement as written. I believe that legal protections for human life begin at birth. Furthermore, I firmly support a woman's fundamental right to bodily autonomy and believe that personal healthcare decisions should remain entirely her own, free from government interference.

What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?

Schools must be a safe environment that provides real student support without overstepping into the role of the family. The primary role of the school in a crisis is to offer immediate counseling, ensure the student's academic stability, and connect them—alongside their parents or guardians—with the appropriate community and medical resources.

ECONOMY

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Disagree

What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?

Public funding must be treated as an investment that yields a direct, tangible return for our community. We need stronger funding directed toward practical education, Career and Technical Education (CTE), financial literacy programs, and real support for teachers in K-12. This ensures students graduate ready to immediately enter the workforce, secure a trade, or start a business, rather than pushing every student toward traditional, debt-heavy college pathways.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

With regard to public schools, what does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Public schools must be inclusive spaces that respect everyone's beliefs by maintaining neutrality, ensuring all children feel welcome and that resources are dedicated strictly to academic and public education.

IMMIGRATION

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enhances the safety and security of communities by identifying and detaining illegal aliens.

Disagree

EDUCATION

Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.

Agree

Consequences for bad behavior create a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree. A safe and orderly environment is non-negotiable. Building stronger schools means having clear, consistent consequences for bad behavior, paired with robust student mentorship programs. This approach ensures teachers can focus fully on instruction and students can focus on building character and practical skills without constant disruption.

Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.

Neutral

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Disagree

If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development

Abstinence, consent, contraceptive methods, human anatomy/the reproductive system, physical and emotional health outcomes, sexual orientation and gender identity, and stages of pregnancy and fetal development

Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning

Vocational Learning Language Arts Mathematics Science Information Technology Civics American History Personal Finances Physical Fitness Art & Music

Public schools should prioritize academic achievement and building character necessary to preserve American traditions and self-government.

Agree

I agree. We must prioritize an education that equips students for the real world. By expanding CTE and financial literacy alongside strong student mentorship, we build both the character and the tangible, practical skills necessary for our graduates to thrive as independent citizens and future community leaders.

School choice creates competition, and that competition will push public schools to improve their educational systems.

Agree

VALUES

Biological males should be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a practicing Christian who believes in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, my faith guides my core values of compassion, integrity, and a dedication to serving others and my community.

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

I strongly support this. Building stronger schools requires a true partnership between educators, parents, and the community. When parents are actively engaged and empowered to direct their child's well-being, student outcomes improve across the board.

I support the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., that people should be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Disagree

I disagree. I believe marriage is about love and commitment, and as a man happily married to my husband, I support the legal equality of all loving unions and the right of all families to be respected.

Mental health conditions such as anorexia and gender dysphoria need to be treated, not affirmed.

Disagree

School library books that have literary value, as determined by experts, should be exempt from obscenity laws.

Agree
