QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Neutral

I believe every human life has value, but I do not believe the government should make deeply personal medical decisions for every family. I support protecting a person's right to make reproductive healthcare decisions in consultation with their doctors and loved ones. I also believe we should reduce unintended pregnancies by expanding access to healthcare, contraception, prenatal care, and support for parents and children.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Neutral

I believe human embryos should be treated with respect and that fertility treatments should be conducted ethically. At the same time, I support access to IVF and other fertility treatments for families who need them. I believe any policies in this area should balance respect for human life with the medical realities of fertility care and the needs of patients.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I believe these are deeply personal and often difficult decisions. My priority in Congress would be ensuring women and families have access to quality healthcare, prenatal care, affordable childcare, housing, and economic support so that fewer people face these decisions because of financial hardship. I support protecting medically necessary care while respecting individual rights and the law.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Yes. I support allowing qualified healthcare providers, including Planned Parenthood, to receive public funding for services such as cancer screenings, contraception, STI testing and treatment, preventive care, and other healthcare services. Planned Parenthood does more than abortion services. Federal law already restricts the use of most federal funds for abortion services, and I support maintaining access to essential healthcare for patients who rely on these providers.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support using the Comstock Act to restrict access to FDA-approved medications or to interfere with decisions made between patients and their healthcare providers. Healthcare decisions should be guided by medical professionals and evidence-based care, not outdated restrictions.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

I believe a productive economy requires a strong private sector, secure property rights, and opportunities for entrepreneurs and businesses to grow. At the same time, economic success must benefit working families and communities. Government has an important role in ensuring fair competition, protecting consumers, supporting workers, and creating opportunities for everyone to participate in our economy.

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Agree

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
