QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Choose not to answer

What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?

Schools should provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment for a student facing an unwanted or crisis pregnancy. The role of the school is not to make the personal decision for the student, but to connect them with appropriate counseling, academic support, and qualified community resources while protecting their privacy and ensuring they can continue their education.

ECONOMY

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Strongly Disagree

What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?

I strongly support public investment in education from Pre-K through college because education is one of the most important long-term investments a community can make. Funding should be adequate, equitable, transparent, and tied to measurable outcomes, with particular attention to ensuring students and educators have the resources they need to succeed. If we want a stronger workforce and stronger communities tomorrow, we have to invest in the people who will build them today.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

With regard to public schools, what does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

To me, separation of church and state in public schools means protecting both religious freedom and public education. Schools should not require a particular religion, but should respect students’ and employees’ constitutional rights to practice and express their faith within the boundaries of the law.

IMMIGRATION

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enhances the safety and security of communities by identifying and detaining illegal aliens.
