QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
I strongly agree because I believe every human life has inherent dignity and value from conception until natural death. I answered honestly based on my faith and personal convictions. While this issue is outside the scope of the School Board, if elected, my focus will remain on improving student achievement, supporting teachers, and serving every child and family with fairness and respect.
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
Schools should provide compassion, support, and resources to students facing an unwanted or crisis pregnancy. Every student deserves dignity, confidentiality, and the opportunity to continue their education without judgment. Schools should involve parents when appropriate, connect students with counseling and community resources, and encourage life-affirming options while ensuring that both the student and child receive the support they need to succeed.
ECONOMY
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Agree
I believe individuals should take responsibility for the loans they choose to borrow. However, I also recognize that targeted relief for those facing genuine hardship can be appropriate. Broad loan forgiveness that shifts the burden to taxpayers who did not incur the debt raises fairness concerns.
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I support adequately funding public education from Pre-K through college while ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars. Every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, and funding should prioritize academic excellence, teacher support, school safety, and preparing students for college, careers, and life.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
With regard to public schools, what does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
To me, separation of church and state means that government should not establish or favor one religion over another, while protecting every individual’s right to freely practice their faith. Public schools should welcome students of all backgrounds, respect religious expression, and remain focused on providing an excellent education for every child without discrimination.
IMMIGRATION
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enhances the safety and security of communities by identifying and detaining illegal aliens.
Agree
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Disagree
I believe schools should focus on academics and partner with parents in addressing sensitive issues. Healthcare decisions involving abortion or gender-related services should remain with families and medical professionals rather than being promoted through school resources or instruction.
Consequences for bad behavior create a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Strongly Agree
I believe every student deserves a safe and orderly learning environment. Clear expectations, consistent consequences, and appropriate support help students develop responsibility while allowing teachers to focus on teaching and students to focus on learning.
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Strongly Agree
I believe students should have a strong understanding of America’s founding documents, civic responsibilities, and the principles of freedom and democracy. Teaching patriotism means fostering gratitude, respect, and active citizenship while encouraging students to think critically and contribute positively to our nation.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Agree
I believe education decisions are best made closest to students, by parents, teachers, and local communities. States should have greater flexibility and authority while ensuring that essential resources and protections remain available to support all students.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
I support age-appropriate sexual education that includes human anatomy, abstinence, consent, healthy relationships, and the physical and emotional consequences of sexual activity. Parents should be informed and have the right to guide their children’s values and opt out when appropriate. Schools should provide factual information while respecting the role of families in these sensitive discussions.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning
1. Language Arts 2. Mathematics 3. Science 4. Civics 5. American History 6. Personal Finances 7. Information Technology 8. Vocational Learning 9. Physical Fitness 10. Art & Music 11. Foreign Language 12. Social Emotional Learning 13. Sexuality 14. Gender Identity 15. Political Activism 16. Critical Race Theory
Public schools should prioritize academic achievement and building character necessary to preserve American traditions and self-government.
Strongly Agree
I believe public schools should focus on academic excellence while helping students develop integrity, responsibility, respect, and civic understanding. Strong character and knowledge of our nation’s principles prepare students to contribute positively to their communities and uphold our system of self-government.
School choice creates competition, and that competition will push public schools to improve their educational systems.
Agree
VALUES
Biological males should be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

I value strong families, personal responsibility, respect for others, and a commitment to loving our neighbors and serving our community. Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

I support the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., that people should be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.
