QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Every human life has inherent value and deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
Schools should provide age-appropriate health services and counseling resources while respecting the fundamental role of parents and guardians. Decisions regarding pregnancy are primarily the responsibility of the student, the family, and their chosen healthcare provider-not the school system.
ECONOMY
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Strongly Agree
We do not let families shop for groceries and to leave without paying for those groceries. Why should taxpayers bear the burden of students' unpaid debts? Students (and/or their parents, if that is what the parents desire) should bear the financial burden of their student loan debt. This is one way to teach students to be responsible for the consequences of their financial choices.
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
Public education is a core responsibility of state and local government because every child, from Pre-K through the 12th grade, deserves access to a quality education. Higher public education should remain available, but students should carefully evaluate costs, career opportunities, and personal responsibility when pursuing college or vocational training.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
With regard to public schools, what does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Separation of church and state protects individuals' freedoms to practice (or not practice) their faith without government interference. It should never be interpreted as requiring government to remove faith, history, or voluntary religious expression from public life.
IMMIGRATION
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enhances the safety and security of communities by identifying and detaining illegal aliens.
Strongly Agree
I support ICE and the enforcement of our nation's immigration laws. Safe communities require secure borders and consistent enforcement of existing laws.
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Disagree
Schools should focus on academics, student achievement, and campus safety. Decisions involving abortion, pregnancy, or gender-related issues belong with parents and families, not outside advocacy organizations. The role of schools is to educate students and support parents, not replace them.
Consequences for bad behavior create a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Strongly Agree
Safe, orderly classrooms are essential for learning. Teachers deserve consistent administrative support, and parents should be active partners in addressing student behavior. Accountability, with natural consequences, should involve students, families, and school leadership working together.
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Strongly Agree
Students should receive an honest education about America's founding documents, constitutional principles, civic responsibilities, and the role faith and individual liberty played throughout our nation's history. Patriotism and civic understanding help prepare responsible citizens.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Education decisions are best made by states, local communities, parents, and teachers rather than federal bureaucracies. Returning authority closer to the classroom increases accountability and allows schools to better meet local needs.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
If reproductive health education is provided, it should be age-appropriate and medically accurate. Healthy relationships, abstinence, consent, pregnancy awareness, and parental involvement should be emphasized. Graphic sexual content, gender ideology, and instructional materials that are not age-appropriate have no place in our classrooms.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning
1)Language Arts 2)Mathematics 3)Science 4)American History &Civics-They go hand-in-hand. 5)Art & Music 6)Information Technology 7)Physical Fitness 8)Vocational Learning 9)Personal Finance
Public schools should prioritize academic achievement and building character necessary to preserve American traditions and self-government.
Strongly Agree
Schools should prioritize both academic excellence and character development. Respect for oneself and others, responsibility, integrity, self-discipline, and good citizenship are essential qualities that prepare students for successful lives beyond the classroom.
School choice creates competition, and that competition will push public schools to improve their educational systems.
Strongly Agree
School choice encourages innovation and accountability while giving parents the ability to choose the educational environment that best meets their child's needs. Public schools should view school choice as motivation to continually improve student outcomes and family satisfaction.
VALUES
Biological males should be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Disagree
One of a school board's highest responsibilities is ensuring every student has a safe learning environment. Biological males should not participate in girls' athletic competitions or occupy private spaces designated for biological females, such as bathrooms and locker rooms. Schools' responsibilities should include the protection of fairness, privacy, and safety while treating every student with dignity and respect.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My faith teaches me the importance of servant leadership, integrity, accountability, compassion, and treating others with dignity and respect. Those principles have guided my family, my business career, my community service, and my commitment to serving the citizens of Santa Rosa County.
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Parents are the primary educators and decision-makers in their children's lives. Schools should partner with parents, communicate openly, and respect their rights - not replace their role. Strong parent involvement is essential to student success.
I support the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., that people should be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.
Strongly Agree
Every student should be treated with dignity and judged by the content of their character, their conduct, and their individual achievements, not by race, ethnicity, or the color of their skin. Schools should unite students around shared values of respect, responsibility, and equal opportunity.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Agree
My personal faith teaches that marriage is a God-ordained, sacred union between one man and one woman. My commitment as a school board member, however, is to faithfully uphold the law, treat every student and family with respect, and ensure every child has the opportunity to learn in a safe and supportive educational environment.
Mental health conditions such as anorexia and gender dysphoria need to be treated, not affirmed.
Agree
Students experiencing mental health challenges deserve compassion, appropriate care, and family support. Decisions regarding diagnosis and treatment should be made by parents and qualified healthcare professionals, not by the school system. Schools should focus on educating students while partnering with families and respecting the role of parents and qualified healthcare professionals in making private medical decisions.
School library books that have literary value, as determined by experts, should be exempt from obscenity laws.
Strongly Disagree
School libraries should contain age-appropriate educational materials that support student learning - not obscene or sexually explicit content inappropriate for minors. I will insist that Florida law is enforced. Parents deserve confidence that inappropriate materials will not remain in school libraries. I will support strong oversight, transparent review, and accountability, so that our libraries will reflect the educational values and age-appropriateness our community expects.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Requiring photo identification is a commonsense safeguard that helps protect election integrity, strengthens public confidence in our elections, and ensures every legal vote is counted accurately.

What political party are you affiliated with?
See response above.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to immigration and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
My overall political philosophy is based on Constitutional Conservatism. I take a commonsense, practical approach to public service that is grounded in Constitutional principles, personal responsibility, and the Judeo-Christian values that have shaped our nation's history. I believe in limited government, individual liberty, strong families, fiscal responsibility, local decision-making, transparency, and personal accountability. My goal, if elected, is to apply those principles.
2ND AMENDMENT
Faculty who are licensed to carry and have had ongoing training should be allowed to carry guns at school in order to respond to an active shooter situation.
Strongly Agree
Properly trained, licensed, and carefully screened school personnel who voluntarily participate in state-approved guardian or school protection programs can provide an additional layer of security as part of a comprehensive school safety plan.
