QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Choose not to answer
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Choose not to answer
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Agree
The government shouldn’t own the means of production or permanent investments in companies. Government should regulate, especially in infrastructure projects, like water and power resources and regulations.
What is your position on the minimum wage?
There should be a living wage set so citizens can afford to be in a safe place to live, with healthy food, and basic necessities for those working a full time job.
I support using taxpayer funds to lobby the state legislature.
Disagree
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
1.Contracts that are “buddy deals” like private prisons 2. Mandate a number of sick days/vacation days elected officials can take without loss of pay. (All levels).
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Government does influence its citizens to pick any religion, or set of moral beliefs. The churches refrain from getting special treatment from the government, or lobby to get advantages. Also, the church can’t have its beliefs push by government, that affect other citizens faith.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
B. More options are better. Insurance providers want less competition to keep prices up. Cheaper, better healthcare saves business money by not having to provide it, and healthier workers miss less work and work quality increases.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
HIPPA laws require privacy. The government may track information of costs, but names must be unavailable. The person may allow their information to be accessed.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Agree
Several countries pose a cyber threat including Russia, Iran, and even our allies.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Every countries relationship is or should be important. Right now this friendship seems to be mostly them taking and us giving. Their democracy doesn’t seem to include Palestinians. We all keep a distance of friends that take advantage of us.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Agree
If smaller governments accept the responsibility of having undocumented workers that is there right. Federal law vs states rights, going one step further County/City rights. If the state doesn’t make laws against it, the citizens can vote out their officials.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Disagree
Living in a smaller economy like Kentucky we benefit a lot from the federal education system. We receive about $1.50 for every $1 we send to DC. Not all that goes to education but California, New York and many other states help fund our education. If we did that our schools would decline or taxes would increase.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Neutral
A large percentage high school students can’t name three state capitals, where Africa is on a map, order of operations, etc. Funding is fine in my opinion, influencing, especially curriculum, is unacceptable.
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Did not answer
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Choose not to answer
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Neutral
It needs to be regulated better. The prediction markets are very dangerous, insider trading and manipulation are causing major problems in our society.
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's upbringing, including their religious, health, and educational well-being.
Choose not to answer
Attempts to transition or encourage a child to transition to the opposite sex constitutes child abuse.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Neutral
If the state provides one free of cost.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
We shouldn’t rely on any one source. Diversifying keeps prices from fluctuating.
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Liberal
Prefer progressive.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
1 detain dangerous people. 2 rehabilitation for any of those can be. 3 prevent repeat offenders 4 eventually (not likely) end the prison system.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Agree
We have this in a sense. It’s a felony to kill. It’s a lesser felony to steal a car. Lesser for petty theft. Lesser for traffic violations. But religious aspects no.
The government should use automated-enforcement cameras to track speeding and criminal activity.
Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
All guns should be legal to own with proper red flag laws, and registration of all weapons that are not solely for hunting (3 bullet capacity). Depending on state maybe even hunting guns.
