QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The Declaration of Independence states "All men are CREATED equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness". Our rights exist from the moment we are created and are not granted once we grow to a certain development level.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

While I do not oppose the practice of IVF, I am a fan of life and babies, I would like to see much more care taken with embryos and that any that are created are attempted to be implanted.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Only in cases where complications require protection of the life of the mother and life saving care should be delivered to the child in every attempt to save its life.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

Taxpayers should never be forced to fund organizations that they do not support.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Choose not to answer

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Voluntary exchange creates prosperity and is not possible without private property. Socialism is involuntary exchange and encroachment on private property rights and I oppose it fully. Monopolies are bad and the government only serves as one or creates them via regulatory capture. The only role of government in a market is to provide courts to settle claims of harm and fraud.

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Disagree

Working families need relief but wealthier people don't take a cut of working families paychecks. Taxes are the problem, not the solution. If you took every dollar of wealth from every billionaire it would fund the federal government for a few month. That's our problem. The taxes working families are forced to pay are the worst investment they can possibly make. They get a few good things and a lot of bad.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

Endless money printing and crippling debt are making it nearly impossible for everyday people to get ahead. It feels like the American dream is being taken away from our children and grandchildren before they even have a chance to reach for it. I am standing up to fight this because we cannot let our future generations inherit a burden they did not create. If we do not bring down the debt we will not survive another century.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Stop endless wars that benefit foreign countries at the expense of American people. Audit every corner of the federal government spending for waste. Ban Omnibus bills and CR's where budgets remain untouched.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What is it called when you force someone to do something they don't want to do. Voluntary association is a right. If you dislike a business's choices when it comes to who they are willing to serve boycotting and free speech are also rights.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

That government cannot encroach on the religious liberties of individuals.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

D) Ultimately I do not believe anyone is entitled to have someone else pay for their healthcare. This does not mean I oppose programs providing healthcare to those that cannot afford it, but it is better accomplished voluntarily not by force with taxation.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

Absolutely not. I strongly oppose government databases of individual's private information.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

D) We are FORTY TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT. Americans are sick and tired of fighting wars for other countries. Close the bases, bring our troops home to their families, defend THIS country and only this country, and stop sinking Americans further and further into debt with these never ending wars that do not benefit us.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Disagree

China has no desire to enter into conflict with the United States. We should work to get along with China and everyone else. If we don't create conflict then none will exist.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

It's important that it end. Quickly. It has been a disaster for Americans constantly funding and defending them.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Neutral

As Ron Paul pointed out, yes blowback is real. We've been bombing these people for decades, you don't think they're upset about that? The solution is stop bombing them. Ask yourself what you'd be willing to do if they blew up your house and killed your family. We can defend this country without going around the globe creating more terrorists with our bombs.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Individuals sponsored by American citizens. Those citizens must be willing to take full financial guardianship for a minimum of 10 years as the immigrant will not be eligible for any government programs or welfare.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Neutral

While I would oppose this in my city, if another wants to do that it should be the decision of the local community.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Every metric for our students has declined since the creation of the Department of Education, except one... spending.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding anything in America.

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Neutral

Marriage is a religious practice. Governments should not be involved in any way.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Christ is King.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Neutral

I'm not a fan of forcing people to have a government photo ID. HOWEVER, you should have to prove you identity and citizenship in order to vote. If here are ways to get on a plane without a photo ID, you can do the same for voting.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Agree

It's important to protect women from predators. On private property these decisions should be made by the private property owner(s). All individuals have been able to participate in co-ed sports as well as men's sports and that should remain. Women's sports should be for biological women only.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear. Thorium more specifically.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Libertarian

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Parents have a responsibility to protect children. Government has a responsibility to punish those that harm children.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Absolutely none. Self defense is a right that shall not be infringed.
