QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I believe life begins at conception, and to terminate that pregnancy, would be to kill a baby. An abortion is not the same as a D&C, which is after the baby has died. Abortion is not the same as a medical procedure of an ectopic pregnancy where that fetus is not viable as it is outside the uterus. Therefore, I am against elective abortions.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

And we now know that the IVF industry is not regulated enough as they are disposing of many babies through reduction in pregnancy.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Minimum wage is for entry level jobs that often are meant for entry level workers like teenagers. Minimum wage is not meant for people to live on nor provide for a family. It is not a living wage. It is for entry level jobs.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

I would ask if the function that is being served is actually an act that is something government is to be doing. Does the Constitution require this role? If not, how can it be eliminated and let the private sector perform it. If government is doing it, can it be done more efficiently? With fewer people? Too often government has gotten into the lanes of family, church, and private business. Government does not create revenue. It can only redistribute the money of the people by forced taxation.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

That phrase is not rooted in the history of our country. Such a notion was never the intention of our forefathers per their own extensive writings, practice, and the fact the first thing the first Congress did was attend Divine Service. The charters of the first states had clear Christian principles spelled out, and the God of the Bible acknowledged. We've seen "separation of church and state" attempts to silence Christians in government while welcoming other religions.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Lawfare has been targeting Christians more and more, attempting to force them to act against their convictions and conscience: forced expression in their baking, photography, graphic design, etc. Similarly, health care workers pressured to provide abortions, or sex change services. This is an attack upon a person's religious beliefs and convictions. Our Constitution clearly protects these, and people have won again and again in court despite the ongoing lawfare. Also, the Lemon test has fallen.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I believe the Constitution does not provide the means for medicare nor medicaid. That being said, it would take some very extensive work to move our nation away from those, and I do not see the public having the appetite for that yet. If we opened competition in healthcare and insurance across state borders, and deregulate the health insurance and healthcare industries, I believe we'd see business moving away from these government models, as competition always improves things in a free market.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

I am against the government having a database on people.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Absolutely. The fact we are dependent upon them to produce most of our goods and medicines has us dependent upon our enemy. A real predicament, including the fact they are surely spying on us via all of the technology we've acquired from their production.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

I believe that it is important, and it is rooted in the fact that our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs, as well as they are the sole nation in the Middle East who aligns with our ideologies. Furthermore, the Bible speaks of the line of Abraham being one to bless and not curse. Israel has been a very long historical ally.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

This goes against a nation of law and order. Show me another country that allows that level of anarchy and I'll show you a nation that is in turmoil and violence. We are a Constitutional Republic, a nation of laws. It is absurd to think there are people who have to jump through years and years of hoops, paperwork, and spend thousands and thousands of dollars to achieve citizenship, whilst others defy all laws and expect free government help with money stolen from citizens and given to them?

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

It is not in the Constitution to have a federal Dept of Education.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree with this as we've seen the undermining of our nation's core principles at our institutions of higher learning via the CCP and Islamic nations. There has also been a concerted attack by foreign radicals like Soros (Hungarian) and Wyss (Swiss.)

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

This has proven to be so destructive through the years and presently. The promises made that lottery or casino money would fund education has never happened. Crime goes up around casinos. We are seeing our youth and young adults have gambling accessible at their fingertips on their phones. It is so addictive and destructive. The sheer madness we pass bills allowing more gambling and then fund the addiction services with tax payer money at the same time is double-mindedness. Gambling is a vice.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe our universe and all humanity were created by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I, and all humans, are made in the image of God. I have been called by Him to receive Sonship through Jesus Christ who died for me, paying the full penalty for my sin, and the sin of every person. I believe when I die I will go to heaven because Jesus rose from the dead, and has promised eternal life to all who believe in Him. Because of what He has done for me, I am eternally grateful, and serve Him with my life as He is my Lord and Savior, attempting to obey His Word. I believe all wisdom and knowledge for this life are found in the Bible, which are His very Words. I am called to be salt and light wherever I go, and in whatever I do.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Voting is the highest honor, privilege and responsibility we have in this free Constitutional Republic. Why would we compromise the integrity of an election by not doing the very thing needed to determine only legitimate citizens are voting? People have died through the years to protect our liberties. Showing an ID is required to do so many functions in life. It is absolutely fundamental to require it to vote.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The notion that people who were not alive when the harm happened, nor were alive to have been responsible for the harm and expected to pay reparations makes no sense.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Males and females are different in DNA, anatomically and physically as well as physiologically. No drug can change that. No surgery undoes the DNA. Keep women safe from injury in their sports and let them have fun and fair competition amongst themselves. Absolutely no men in the private spaces of women. That has led only to violence when they are allowed.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

People should look at the government's own data that shows otherwise. The numbers when people were shut in their homes show the US had no drastic change in their CO2 levels. This is a man-made attempt to gain more control over humanity by driving the Paris Climate Agreement and the 17 Sustainable Goals of the UN Agenda 2030.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Natural Gas is at the top. Nuclear is another viable option. And coal should be used again as it can produce energy cleanly.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

NO

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

NO

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal would to maintain justice and order. The legislature must define crimes and determine punishments, create statutes and laws that society must follow, as well as create the funding model to provide for the system.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

To be a civil and moral society is something our forefathers spoke of often. Someone's morality is behind laws that are created. I believe laws should be in place to protect our most vulnerable.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

Sharia law usurps our soveriegn system of laws, and threatens the very heart of the Constitution with its own subservient system.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support the 2nd amendment: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
