Infiltration into our universities is untenable, but is a reality. As a JoCo Commissioner I was the only NO vote for tax incentives for a Chinese company, CNANO at our New Century AirCenter June 1, 2023. That building which the commission gave an 88% tax abatement was never occupied and currently remains empty.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes, Biblical basis that the Israelites are God's chosen people. I'm rereading the Bible and currently in 1 Kings Chapter 11 which I share daily on my personal and campaign Facebook page. I've received pushback, but that ridiculous that I should be criticized for sharing a book which is 3,000 years old (Old Testament) and to think in our school libraries we have books such as "Gender Queer" absolutely pornographic, except it is cartoons.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

I supported SB 254 which would have banned public money to provide services for illegal aliens. It passed the Kansas House and Senate, was vetoed by Governor Kelly and the Speaker of the House, Hawkins and Senate President, Masterson refused to bring it up for an override vote.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

The real answer is for Kansas to stop taking federal education funds, cut the strings so that Kansas can decide what our schools should be teaching. I strongly advocate to push all curriculum decisions to the local level. The best local control is homeschooling, which I homeschooled my 2 youngest children for some of their education.

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
To keep law abiding citizens safe. To incarcerate those dangerous to the public with opportunities for inmates to study and gain skills while in custody. I participate in weekly Bible study at the Olathe Juvenile Detention Center. Highlight of my week.
