What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
Schools should connect with parents, who have the primary responsibility for their child's welfare. Schools are not a substitute for parental guidance. All topics should be referred back to parents or guardians.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

It is the government's role to create conditions where individuals can succeed through work, opportunity, and a strong economy, not to guarantee outcomes. Dependency undermines dignity; opportunity restores it. The best way we can ensure people have opportunity is to provide them a knowledge rich education that equips them for everything that next: whether that future is military, trades, college, entrepreneurship, or something else.

However, I would preserve independent federal data infrastructure, specifically NAEP, the Nation's Report Card, which is the only tool that allows states to honestly compare student achievement across state lines.

Equality of opportunities. The best way we can ensure better opportunities is ensure every child has access to a quality education with a highly trained teacher. Quality of education should not be dependent on zip code, school district, or parent’s ability to pay for private remediation. Reading is foundational for everything and we need to work on improved literacy outcomes for all Kansas kids by ensuring high standards for teachers and access to knowledge-rich curriculum.
VALUES
Children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming including drag shows, explicit materials in schools and libraries, and other public venues.

Protecting children from inappropriate sexualized content is not political, it is the basic duty of every adult entrusted with their care.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
