QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?

Provide necessary Resources to the family

ECONOMY

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Agree

This question bothers me because agreeing or disagreeing does not address the root problem here, the cost of college tuition costs that put them in student debt. When they graduate they are thinking about the next chapter of their lives, marriage, buying home, starting a family, and with the way the economy is going, inflation, it will be impossible to pay off the debt timely.

What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?

The last several years I have paid close attention to the Early Childhood Programs Michigan has offered and have seen a great improvement in our students entering Kindergarten, providing them a good foundation to succeed. Funding public education through college might be difficult, I see what has happened in K-12 funding over the last 22 years I have served as a School Board member, this will certainly be a challenge and students would suffer the most, we can offer more grants, and assistance.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

With regard to public schools, what does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Prohibits public schools lead/teach/favor religion. It also protects the rights of students to practice their own religion and religious beliefs.

IMMIGRATION

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enhances the safety and security of communities by identifying and detaining illegal aliens.
