What is your position on the minimum wage?
Our economy is not a one box fits all situation. We need to allow free market and trade. A person needs starter jobs to gain experience. It seems more often than not the idea of minimum wage does not live up to reality.

root out fraud and uphold accountability In MN, HHS is localized to the counties. Great. unfortunately we have about as many State FTE managing and overseeing those local county employees. We need to choose one path instead of doubling job positions and micromanaging.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It means the Church is protected from Government interference.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
It seems whenever the government gets involved there is more waste, corruption, and centralized control vers privatized business, charities and services. I also see we have such an ingrain government welfare/healthcare program that we will not be able to change anything overnight. We can start to move in the direction of getting government out of Tax funded health care and push to lift up charities who are acc to their donners verse inefficient and ineffective government run programs.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Yes. Isreal is a strong alliance in the Middle East and one of the few free countries in the area.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

America is full of companionate people and we want immigrates to come and join in this great American experiment. We are also a nation of rules. it is wrong for cities to encourage unethical means of arriving in the states. Also, illegal immigrants are more susceptible to being victimized since they do not have proper paperwork. We should encourage immigration the right and legal way to protect those coming here to make a better life. Set people up for success and not be held back.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Localized control verse Centralization. Locals are accountable to their neighbors and know what is needed in their area. I can see where it would be nice to have some broad country wide standers to reach for.

Throughout history one society has suppressed another. Should the Irish receive reparations from the British or Americans for their enslavement? how about all those affected by Viking raids? Or the Japanese internment camps during WW2? Slavery was legal in many Arab countries up till recently. and modern-day slavery continues to this day. If we keep looking back, we never move forward. we need to deal with the issues of our day and value each individual as a person.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

biology is objective and factual not subjective to preferences or feelings. Biology matters and makes a differences in competitive sports. We need to keep an objective biological competitive playing field where one side or person is not given subjective advantages. Our society has long fought for safe spaces for women and girls. And now more than ever needs to be protected from those with subjective reasoning.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

God calls us to be good stewards of the earth. We should work to be responsible care takers who look at the big picture effects instead of getting caught up in a narrow issue of the day. For example, If people want solar panels or a windmill on their land, fine. But the science does not support these methods for large scale use. It is more environmental and humanely devastating to produce the materials these systems need than any energy benefits.
