RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer dollars should not be used to fund organizations that perform or promote abortions. I support directing public funds toward healthcare providers and community programs that protect both mothers and unborn children while offering compassionate support, prenatal care, adoption resources, and family services. Individuals may hold differing views on abortion, but taxpayers should not be compelled to subsidize procedures that conflict with their deeply held beliefs.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
None.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Every human life has inherent value and dignity. I believe the law should protect innocent human life from conception until natural death while supporting mothers, families, children, seniors, and vulnerable individuals at every stage of life.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
Human life has inherent value regardless of how it is conceived. Embryos created through artificial methods deserve the same respect and protection as all human life and should not be intentionally destroyed.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Agree
Laws enacted to protect human life should be faithfully enforced. The interstate distribution of abortion-inducing drugs raises significant concerns for both the protection of unborn life and the health and safety of women, making compliance with existing federal law important.
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
Wages are best determined by the job market, skills, and experience. Entry-level jobs provide a pathway to better opportunities. Excessive government wage mandates can reduce jobs, increase costs, and limit economic growth.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Require Performance-Based Budgeting – Every state program should demonstrate measurable results before receiving additional funding. Programs that fail to meet their objectives should be reformed, reduced, or eliminated. Conduct Regular Audits and Oversight – Increase independent audits of state agencies, departments, and publicly funded programs to identify waste, duplication, fraud, and inefficiency. Taxpayers deserve transparency and accountability. Eliminate Duplicative Government Functions
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The First Amendment protects both religious freedom and the free exercise of faith. Our nation's founding was deeply influenced by Judeo-Christian values, and many of our founders openly acknowledged the importance of faith and God in public life. Government should not establish or favor one denomination over another, but neither should people of faith be excluded from the public square. Religious liberty means all Americans are free to practice, express, and live according to their beliefs.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
Individuals and businesses should not be forced by the government to violate their sincerely held moral or religious beliefs. The First Amendment protects both freedom of religion and freedom of conscience. While all people should be treated with dignity and respect, government should seek to balance anti-discrimination protections with the constitutional rights of individuals to live and operate according to their deeply held beliefs. A business has a right to refuse service.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
Medical information is private and should be protected. Government should not maintain databases tracking individuals' health conditions for economic analysis. Policy decisions can be made using anonymous, aggregated data without compromising personal privacy and individual rights.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
The Chinese Communist Party presents significant military, cyber security, intellectual property, and economic challenges to the United States and our allies. America must strengthen national security, protect critical infrastructure, defend intellectual property, and reduce dependence on foreign adversaries for essential goods and resources. Foreign governments tied to adversarial nations should not be permitted to purchase or control American land or strategic assets.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
From a security standpoint, the partnership is centered on shared intelligence and defense cooperation. The United States and Israel collaborate closely on counterterrorism efforts, missile defense systems, and cybersecurity. Israel is a key partner in developing advanced defense technologies, such as the Iron Dome missile defense system, which has also informed U.S. defense research. Intelligence sharing between the two countries is deep and ongoing, particularly regarding regional threats.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
Breaking the law is not acceptable, and immigration rules exist to be followed by everyone equally. Those who want to come to the United States should do so through legal processes, so entry is orderly, fair, and accountable. Enforcing immigration law helps protect national sovereignty and ensures a consistent system for everyone.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and returning control to states and local communities can reduce federal bureaucracy and administrative overhead, allowing more education funding to be directed into classrooms rather than federal administration. It also increases local decision-making, so schools can tailor policies and spending to the specific needs of their communities, which many argue improves efficiency and lowers costs.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
Foreign governments should not have a role in funding American education for it raises serious concerns about influence and independence. Education policy and curriculum should be guided by U.S. values, priorities, and local shaped, directly or indirectly, by outside governments with their own strategic interests. Limiting foreign funding protects academic integrity, ensures transparency, and reduces the risk of undue influence over what is taught and how institutions operate.
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Absolutely. Government should recognize and protect the fundamental right and responsibility of parents to direct their children’s education and healthcare. Parents know their children best and are primarily responsible for their well-being. Strengthening parental authority ensures decisions reflect family values and individual needs, while limiting unnecessary government overreach. This balance promotes accountability, local control, and the best outcomes for children.
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Agree 100%. I do not support gender transition procedures or social transition interventions for minors.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Neutral
Marriage is a legal and personal institution that has been defined in different ways through law and society over time. I believe marriage is a deeply meaningful commitment between two people, and I respect individuals’ rights to their own beliefs and choices on this issue. This is a matter best addressed through the democratic and legal process, with consideration for both tradition and equal treatment under the law.
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Agree
I support the expansion of gambling in our state when it is properly regulated. Expanding gaming options can generate additional revenue for public services, create jobs, and boost tourism and local economies. With strong safeguards in place, it can be managed responsibly while benefiting communities.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian who believes in Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Bible as the foundation for my faith and daily life. Jesus has saved my life in many ways, and my relationship with God is my everything. I attend King’s Chapel and consider myself very spiritual. I am also a member of the Eastern Star. I strive to live out my beliefs through service, integrity, and compassion in both my personal and professional life. My spiritual values are grounded in faith, family, and community, and I believe strong families are the foundation of a healthy and thriving society.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I support requiring voters to present a valid photo ID when casting a ballot. Just as identification is needed for many essential activities, such as boarding a flight, starting employment, or accessing services, voting should include reasonable verification to protect the integrity of the process. A voter ID requirement helps ensure confidence in elections, prevents potential fraud, and strengthens trust that every legitimate vote is counted fairly.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
I do not support reparations based on race, as I believe public policy should focus on equal treatment under the law rather than assigning benefits or compensation based on group identity.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Biological males should not compete in women’s sports or be placed in spaces designated for biological females, including bathrooms, locker rooms, women’s shelters, sorority housing, and prisons. Women and girls deserve fairness, privacy, safety, and equal opportunities. Protecting female-only spaces is not discrimination—it is common sense. I will stand firmly for policies that recognize biological reality and protect the rights and dignity of women and girls.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Neutral
I believe environmental stewardship is important, but I do not support policies driven by fear or mandates that harm Alaska’s economy, energy independence, or working families. Climate and weather patterns are influenced by many factors, and any proposed solutions should be based on sound science, practical outcomes, and cost-benefit analysis. I support responsible resource development, innovation, and conservation without sacrificing jobs, affordable energy, or individual freedoms.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear power, especially Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), is the most reliable for Alaska’s growing electricity needs (~92% capacity factor for steady baseload). Paired with natural gas and hydro with focus on affordable and energy independence.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Constitutional Conservative. I believe in limited government, individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, strong national defense, protection of constitutional rights, religious freedom, parental rights, and the rule of law. I support policies that strengthen families, promote economic opportunity, protect public safety, and preserve the freedoms and values that have made America strong.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
Never.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
Never.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The primary goal of the criminal justice system should be to protect innocent people, hold offenders accountable, deliver justice for victims, and deter future crime. Public safety must come first. While rehabilitation can be appropriate for some offenders, the system should prioritize accountability, consequences for criminal behavior, and reducing repeat offenses. Victims deserve a voice, communities deserve safety, and laws must be enforced fairly and consistently.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
Government has a clear and non-negotiable responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation online. Predators must be aggressively prosecuted, and any platform that enables or ignores exploitation must be held fully accountable under the law. Tech companies should be required to implement strong age verification, reporting, and monitoring systems. There is no justification for inaction when children’s safety is at stake. Children deserve absolute protection in the digital world.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
The United States is governed by the Constitution, not by foreign legal systems. I oppose the adoption, recognition, or enforcement of Sharia law or any other foreign religious code within our legal framework. Every American has the right to practice their faith freely, but no religious doctrine should supersede the Constitution, equal protection under the law, or the rights and freedoms guaranteed to all citizens. One nation, one Constitution, one rule of law.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Law-abiding citizens have a constitutional right to keep and bear arms. I do not support additional restrictions on legal gun ownership that burden responsible Americans while failing to stop criminals. Instead, we should enforce existing laws, prosecute violent offenders, improve mental health resources, and strengthen school and community safety. Public safety is best achieved by holding criminals accountable—not by restricting the rights of law-abiding citizens.
