Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

I assisted Congresswoman Hageman in drafting legislation to remove non-profit tax status for abortion businesses and their funders. I have testified several times to the Wyoming Legislature in support of pro-life laws.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
There is never a reason for elective abortion. If a medical situation is happening for a mother, a pre-term delivery is safer and more humane.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
The free market and not government imposed wages will build real economic wealth. States that have increasing minimum wage laws have seen a loss of employment due to businesses closing especially in fast food enterprises.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

We have rights over what we own and no government should take those rights away.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Accountability and consequences. Do not just oppose waste. Terminate contracts for providers who cheat. Make them an example for others. Medicaid fraud with non-citizens who entered the county illegally needs to be eliminate. Sanction and take money away from states that have not stopped this theft of taxpayer funds. I hope to serve on the Wyoming Legislature's Audit Management Committee to investigate whether funds are being spent as stated in statute, that are performing as expected.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
This is a phrase from a statement by Thomas Jefferson in the Federalist papers that is purposely mis-represented. The Establishment Clause in the 1st amendment is clear. There is not a government religion created and we, as free people have a right to express our religious views and pray wherever and whenever we want to.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C) Having worked voluntarily on healthcare reform for more than 35 years, I authored a paper called the "Much more Affordable Care Act" in 2016 after the General Election. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) should be repealed. Let Wyomingites by the private insurance that they like and can afford. I promote Assoc. Health Plans where small businesses in the same industry ban together to negotiate plans that meet their needs. Medicaid should be reduced to specific needs.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Privacy is essential. Such an effort will lead to denial of services for those with the most needs. Every human should be treated equally. This effort puts money above people and their rights.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

China is not only an adversary, their plan is to be a global controlling power. They treat their people horribly including Falun Gong, Tibetans, Uyghurs and others.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. Israel is the only true Democracy in the Middle East. Terrorists regimes like Iran have called for its destruction since the 1979 overthrow of the Shah. Israel is constantly under attack. Going forward we should reduce military expenditures to Israel but continue to allow them to buy arms from us. Israel's innovations have benefited the entire world with their technological know-how. They send rescue workers and equipment to other nations during natural disasters.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

This is a violation of the U.S. Constitution. Sanctuary city policies violate federal law. Local officials who harbor people who have broken the law should be removed as they are violating their oath of office. The term undocumented is not the problem. These individuals have driver's licenses and other documents. They should be called law-breakers.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

This is just another bureaucratic agency. The officials that are in charge of state public education are fully capable of managing the needs of their states and can share information about what works and what does not work with the other state education leaders without a federal agency.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

The government does not co-parent children. Parents have a right and a responsible for the raising and protection of their children. Curriculum should be made available at no cost to citizens. Parents have a right to know what their children are being taught and be informed of any medical or mental issues their children are experiencing.

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

It is absurd that someone does not have a photo ID. They are easy to obtain and needed for many things. For someone with dementia it is essential that they carry an ID in case they wander so they can return safely to their family.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

People living today have no obligation for what someone did two centuries ago. America ended slavery at great human sacrifice during the Civil War. The reparations argument tells people that someone else is responsible for their problems and lack of success.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

I am a limited-government Constitutional conservative. Government's role is limited to those services that individuals can not do on their own. Public safety and infrastructure are the chief responsibilities of government. Free enterprise can take care of the rest of it.

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
To punish those who violate others physical, emotional and financial rights. The justice system should be a deterrent to crime.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Working with parents, law enforcement and health care providers, we need to make sure children are not exposed to these harms.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The right to bear arms shall not be infringed. If someone commits a crime, especially with a fire arm, then that is probably the only restrictions I would place, based on the crime and the rights of others.
