QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Neutral

I believe taxpayer dollars should be used with clear accountability and transparency. Public funding should prioritize essential health services such as cancer screenings, STI testing, contraception, prenatal care, and support for women and families. Funding decisions should be transparent and ensure public dollars are used for services that strengthen health, stability, and family well-being.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I believe human life has value, and protecting the life of the mother is essential. Elective abortion should not be treated as routine birth control. I support policies that protect women’s health, support mothers and families, expand access to prenatal care and adoption resources, and reduce the circumstances that lead women to feel abortion is their only option.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Neutral

I believe protecting the life and health of the mother is essential. These situations are deeply personal and medically complex. My focus is on supporting women and families through better healthcare, prenatal support, mental health services, adoption resources, and policies that reduce the economic instability that can leave women feeling like they have no real options.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Neutral

I believe human embryos should be treated with seriousness and respect. At the same time, reproductive medicine is medically and ethically complex, especially for families facing infertility. I support thoughtful safeguards, informed consent, and policies that respect human life while also recognizing the difficult decisions families and medical providers may face.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Neutral

I believe laws involving prescription medications and reproductive healthcare should be guided by patient safety, medical evidence, and clear legal standards. These issues are complex and continue to be debated nationally and in the courts. My focus is on ensuring women receive safe medical care, accurate information, and appropriate oversight of prescription medications.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I support a fair minimum wage that helps working families keep up with the cost of living, while recognizing the pressures facing small businesses. Wage policies should be practical, sustainable, and balanced with local economic realities.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

Small businesses and working families need the opportunity to succeed, along with fair rules, accountability, and policies that support long term economic stability.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

My top priorities are: 1) require regular performance reviews so taxpayers know whether programs are working; 2) reduce duplication across agencies so government is not paying twice for the same work; 3) move more dollars to direct services and less to bureaucracy; 4) make budgets and contracts easier for the public to see and understand; and 5) eliminate rules that add cost without solving real problems.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

To me, separation of church and state means the government should not control religion, and people should be free to practice their faith without government interference. Faith and personal values still have an important place in public life and community service.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Neutral

I believe religious freedom and equal treatment are both important constitutional principles. People should not be forced to violate deeply held beliefs, but everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect. These situations should be handled carefully, with common sense, respect for individual conscience, and a commitment to ensuring people can access essential services.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

B) I support maintaining Medicaid and Medicare and believe affordable healthcare coverage should be available, while preserving private healthcare options and encouraging competition, innovation, and accountability in the system.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Disagree

I support using de-identified public health data to understand costs, improve care, and plan services. I do not support creating a government database that tracks individuals by medical illness. Patient privacy, consent, and data security must come first.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

I agree that the Chinese Communist Party presents serious national security, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and economic concerns for the United States. We should protect American innovation, strengthen cybersecurity, secure critical supply chains, and stand with allies while avoiding rhetoric that unfairly targets Chinese Americans or legal immigrants who contribute to our communities and economy.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. The United States’ relationship with Israel is important to me both personally and morally. Israel is a key democratic ally in a dangerous region, and the safety of the Jewish people matters. I believe the U.S. should stand against terrorism, antisemitism, and efforts to delegitimize Israel’s right to exist, while also supporting peace, stability, and the protection of innocent life.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Disagree

I believe immigration policy is primarily a federal responsibility under the U.S. Constitution and federal law, not a patchwork of local rules. Local governments should not obstruct lawful enforcement, but they should also treat people with dignity and focus on public safety. The goal should be consistent immigration enforcement, cooperation where legally appropriate, and practical solutions that protect communities

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Neutral

I support giving states, local communities, parents, and teachers more control over education decisions. I also believe we need to be careful with major structural changes to ensure students with disabilities, low-income students, and civil rights protections are not harmed.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments should not be allowed to influence American education through hidden or agenda-driven funding. Schools and universities should have transparency, strong disclosure rules, and safeguards that protect academic freedom and national security.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Parents have the primary responsibility to guide their children’s health, education, and well-being. Government should respect that role, ensure transparency in schools and healthcare, and keep parents informed and involved in major decisions affecting their children. Supporting parents is not partisan; it is essential to helping children thrive, stay safe, and succeed.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Neutral

I believe children deserve compassion, strong parental involvement, and careful mental health support. These are complex issues and should be handled cautiously, with age-appropriate care and a focus on the child’s long-term well-being.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Disagree

I believe adults should have the freedom to marry the person they love. Marriage is also tied to many legal and financial protections involving taxes, healthcare, inheritance, property, parental rights, and benefits, so government has an important legal role in recognizing and administering marriage fairly under the law.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Neutral

I have concerns about expanding gambling because of its potential impact on families, addiction, and financial instability. Any proposal should be evaluated carefully for community impact, consumer protections, and whether the benefits truly outweigh the harm.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My values are grounded in faith, service, compassion, personal responsibility, and respect for human dignity. I draw many of my spiritual beliefs from the Jewish tradition, including the importance of caring for others, strengthening community, pursuing justice, and treating people with kindness and humility.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Agree

I believe fairness, privacy, and safety matter, especially in women’s sports and private spaces. Policies should protect opportunities and privacy for women and girls while treating every person with dignity and respect.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Neutral

I believe environmental stewardship matters and we should reduce pollution, protect clean air and water, and support practical energy solutions. Political action should be realistic, affordable, and balanced with the needs of working families, small businesses, and reliable energy.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

I support a diverse energy portfolio that keeps power reliable and affordable, including hydropower, natural gas, small modular reactors, and other practical technologies that meet growing demand.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Lean Conservative

I consider myself practical, independent, and solutions-oriented. I value personal responsibility, public safety, strong families, economic stability, compassion, and accountable government focused on real-world results rather than political extremes.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

no

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

no

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The criminal justice system should protect public safety, hold people accountable, support victims, and reduce repeat crime through effective treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention when possible.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Government has a responsibility to protect children from online sexual exploitation which should include holding predators and platforms accountable, supporting parents, improving reporting systems, and providing law enforcement the tools needed to keep children safe.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

American law should be based on the U.S. Constitution and the laws enacted through our democratic system. People should be free to practice their faith, but no religious legal code should replace or override American civil law.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support the Second Amendment and responsible gun ownership. I also support enforcing existing laws, keeping firearms out of the hands of violent offenders, improving background checks, addressing mental health gaps, and holding people accountable when guns are used in crimes.
