QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Did not answer

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Did not answer

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Did not answer

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Did not answer

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise and property rights are the foundation of a productive economy and a free people. When government overregulates or punishes success, jobs leave, families lose ground, and small businesses cannot survive.

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Strongly Disagree

Washington voters have rejected a state income tax ten times since 1933. The answer is not new taxes on anyone, it is restraining government spending so working families keep more of what they earn. Olympia does not have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

Every family in Washington lives within a budget. Government should too. Restraining wasteful spending is the only sustainable path to reducing debt and protecting future generations from a bill they did not vote for.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1. Audit duplicate programs across state agencies and consolidate overlapping functions. 2. Require performance metrics and sunset reviews on every new state appropriation. 3. Cap administrative headcount growth so taxpayer dollars flow to public safety, classrooms, and infrastructure rather than to bureaucracies. 4. End spending on policies that do not produce measurable outcomes 5. Return to pre-pandemic baseline budgeting and apply zero-based review to any proposed program expansion.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

The First Amendment protects freedom of conscience. Government should not compel any American to violate sincerely held religious or moral beliefs as a condition of doing business.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The First Amendment prohibits the government from establishing an official religion or interfering with the free exercise of religion. It was never intended to remove faith from public life or silence Americans of faith from participating in their government. Americans of every faith and of no faith have an equal right to bring their values into the public square.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

Patient privacy is a fundamental right. As a former medical professional, I know what is at stake when government creates centralized health databases. People should not be reduced to a line item on a government spreadsheet, and bureaucrats should not be making cost-benefit judgments about who deserves care.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

Did not answer

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Did not answer

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Did not answer

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Did not answer

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Did not answer

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Did not answer

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Agree

Major medical decisions affecting a child's body should never be made without full parental knowledge and consent. Schools and government agencies have no business facilitating social or medical transition of children behind their parents' backs. Children deserve protection from irreversible decisions they are not developmentally equipped to make, and parents deserve the unalienable right to direct the care of their own children.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Did not answer

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian. My faith shapes my belief that every person has inherent dignity and worth, that strong families are the foundation of strong communities, and that public service is a calling, not a career. I try to lead with honesty, treat every person with respect, and put service before self.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Women fought for decades to have their own sports, scholarships, and safe spaces. Those protections matter. Female athletes deserve a level playing field. Women in shelters, locker rooms, and prisons deserve safety and privacy. Title IX exists for a reason, and it should be enforced as written.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

All of the above. Protect Washington's hydropower dams, the backbone of our grid. Take nuclear seriously as zero-emission baseload. Keep natural gas for reliability when wind and solar cannot. Reliability and affordability come first.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Strongly Agree. This is one of the most urgent public safety issues of our time. Predators have unprecedented access to children through the devices in their pockets, and current law has not kept pace. We need stronger penalties for online predators, age verification on platforms hosting adult content, and real accountability for tech companies that look the other way.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
