RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer dollars should not be used to fund abortion providers. I believe government should respect the conscience rights of taxpayers who oppose abortion and direct healthcare funding toward community health centers, clinics, and providers that offer care to women and families without performing abortions. Women deserve quality healthcare without requiring taxpayers to subsidize abortion services.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I am pro-life and believe every human life has value and deserves protection. I support exceptions when the life of the mother is at risk. These situations are often complex and should be approached with compassion and respect for those involved. I also support policies that strengthen families, encourage adoption, and provide resources that help women choose life.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I believe every human life has inherent value and deserves legal protection from conception until natural death. Human rights should not depend on age, ability, or stage of development. A just society has a responsibility to protect its most vulnerable members while supporting policies that strengthen families, mothers, children, seniors, and individuals facing end-of-life challenges.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

Human life has value regardless of how conception occurs. Human embryos created through artificial reproductive technologies should be treated with dignity and respect, not as disposable commodities. Scientific and medical advances can benefit families, but they should be guided by ethical standards that recognize and protect human life.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Agree

Laws passed by Congress should be enforced unless they are repealed or overturned through the proper legal process. Selective enforcement undermines the rule of law and public confidence in government. As someone who is pro-life, I also have concerns about the distribution of abortion-inducing drugs and believe existing laws should be applied consistently and fairly.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I believe workers deserve fair wages and opportunities to succeed, but I am generally cautious about large government-mandated increases in the minimum wage. Wage levels can vary significantly between urban and rural communities. I prefer policies th

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise and private property rights are fundamental to economic opportunity, innovation, and individual freedom. Small businesses, family farms, and entrepreneurs help drive Wisconsin's economy by creating jobs and investing in their communities. Government should protect property rights, encourage economic growth, and avoid unnecessary regulations that limit opportunity and individual initiative.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

My top priorities for reducing government waste are: (1) conducting regular audits of government programs to identify inefficiencies and eliminate programs that are not producing results; (2) reducing unnecessary bureaucracy and administrative overhead; (3) increasing transparency so taxpayers can see how their money is being spent; (4) preventing fraud and abuse in government programs; and (5) requiring measurable outcomes before expanding or creating new programs.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

To me, separation of church and state means the government should not establish an official religion or interfere with the free exercise of religion. It protects both religious liberty and individual freedom. I do not believe it requires people of faith to remain silent in public life or public debate. Americans should be free to practice their faith, express their beliefs, and participate fully in civic life without government coercion or discrimination.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C. Medicare and Medicaid serve important roles for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and low-income families, and I support maintaining those programs. However, I do not support moving to a government-run healthcare system. I believe healthcare reforms should focus on improving access, affordability, competition, and rural healthcare availability while preserving patient choice and encouraging innovation within the healthcare system.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

While policymakers should have access to anonymized public health data to help evaluate healthcare needs and costs, I have serious concerns about the government maintaining databases that track individuals based on their medical conditions. Protecting personal privacy and sensitive health information is essential. Any collection of health data should be limited, secure, and focused on legitimate public health purposes rather than tracking individual citizens.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Chinese Communist Party poses significant military, cyber security, intellectual property, and economic threats to the United States. China has engaged in espionage, intellectual property theft, cyberattacks, and efforts to expand its influence around the world. The United States must remain vigilant, strengthen national security, protect critical infrastructure, and reduce strategic dependence on adversarial nations.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

America's relationship with Israel should be guided by mutual interests, not special treatment. I believe the United States should maintain productive relationships with allies around the world, but the primary responsibility of our government is to protect and advance the interests of the American people. No foreign relationship should take precedence over America's security, economy, and sovereignty.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

I believe immigration laws should be enforced consistently and fairly. Sanctuary city policies can undermine cooperation between local, state, and federal law enforcement and make it more difficult to enforce existing laws. While all individuals should be treated with dignity and respect, local governments should not adopt policies that intentionally obstruct immigration enforcement or provide special protections for those who are in the country illegally.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Education decisions are best made by parents, local communities, and states rather than federal bureaucracies in Washington, D.C. Returning greater authority to states and local school districts would improve accountability, encourage innovation, and allow communities to better address their unique needs. The focus should remain on student achievement, academic excellence, and preparing young people for success.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

American education should be guided by the interests of the American people, not influenced by foreign governments. Foreign funding can create conflicts of interest, undermine transparency, and raise legitimate national security concerns. Schools and universities should fully disclose foreign financial relationships, and educational policy should remain accountable to students, parents, taxpayers, and local communities.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Parents have the primary responsibility and fundamental right to guide their children's upbringing, education, and healthcare decisions. Government should respect and support that role rather than undermine it. Parents are generally in the best position to understand their children's needs, values, and circumstances, and they should have a meaningful voice in major decisions affecting their children's well-being and future.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Children should not be subjected to medical or social interventions that seek to transition them to the opposite sex. These are significant decisions with potentially lifelong consequences and should not be made while a child is still developing. I believe children experiencing gender dysphoria deserve compassion, counseling, mental health support, and family involvement, not irreversible interventions that may cause long-term harm.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I believe marriage is a God-ordained institution and is the union of one man and one woman. This belief is rooted in my faith and my understanding of family. At the same time, I recognize that individuals in long-term committed relationships should have access to appropriate legal protections regarding property, medical decisions, inheritance, and other civil matters. My view of marriage and legal protections are not mutually exclusive.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Neutral

I have mixed views on expanding gambling. Adults should have the freedom to make their own choices, and gambling can generate economic activity and tax revenue. However, expansion also carries social costs, including addiction, financial hardship, and impacts on families and communities. Any proposal should be evaluated carefully, include appropriate safeguards, and demonstrate that the benefits outweigh the potential costs.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My faith teaches me that every person has inherent value and dignity. I believe in personal responsibility, service to others, humility, and treating people with respect. My values are also shaped by the lessons of history and the principles found in the Constitution, including individual liberty, limited government, and accountability. Together, these beliefs influence how I view family, community, leadership, and public service.

Any mental health professional treating a patient with gender-identity or sexual-orientation issues should be required to affirm whatever the patient proclaims with regard to their identity.

Strongly Disagree

Mental health professionals should be guided by their professional judgment, evidence-based practices, and the individual needs of each patient. Requiring therapists to affirm any declared identity regardless of circumstances may limit honest clinical assessment and professional discretion. Patients deserve compassionate care, support, and counseling, but treatment decisions should be based on sound clinical judgment rather than government mandates.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Confidence in our elections requires confidence in the voting process. Requiring a valid photo ID is a common-sense measure that helps verify identity, protect election integrity, and strengthen public trust in election outcomes. Photo identification is already required for many everyday activities, and reasonable steps should be taken to ensure eligible voters can obtain an ID while maintaining secure elections.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Individuals should be treated equally under the law regardless of race. While our nation has faced difficult chapters in its history, I do not support distributing benefits or penalties based on race. Public policy should focus on expanding opportunity, strengthening communities, and helping people based on need and circumstance rather than racial classifications.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Women's sports and private spaces should be reserved for biological females. Policies governing athletics, bathrooms, locker rooms, shelters, prisons, and similar facilities should recognize biological sex in order to protect fairness, privacy, safety, and opportunities for women and girls. Every person should be treated with dignity and respect, but the rights and protections afforded to women should not be diminished.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

Climate and environmental issues deserve serious study and responsible stewardship, but I do not believe fear-driven policies or costly government mandates are the answer. Public policy should balance environmental concerns with economic growth, energy affordability, and national security. Innovation, technological advancement, and practical solutions are more effective than policies that impose significant costs on working families and businesses.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

I believe nuclear energy is the most reliable long-term source for meeting growing electricity demand. Nuclear power provides consistent baseload energy, operates regardless of weather conditions, produces no direct carbon emissions during generation

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I consider myself a constitutional conservative. My views are rooted in individual liberty, limited government, fiscal responsibility, personal accountability, strong families, public safety, and the protection of constitutional rights. I believe government exists to serve the people, not the other way around, and that public policy should be guided by common sense, practical solutions, and respect for the Constitution.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No. I have never been penalized for sexual misconduct in either a civil or criminal court.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No. I have never been convicted of a felony.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The primary goals of the criminal justice system should be protecting the public, holding offenders accountable, delivering justice for victims, and reducing future crime. Rehabilitation can play an important role when it helps individuals become productive members of society, but public safety and accountability must remain the top priorities. A justice system should be fair, consistent, and focused on achieving real results.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Protecting children is one of government's most important responsibilities. Online predators, human traffickers, and those who exploit children should face serious consequences. Government should support efforts to combat child exploitation, strengthen cybercrime enforcement, and work with parents, schools, and technology companies to help keep children safe while respecting constitutional rights and individual liberties.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

The United States is governed by the Constitution and the rule of law, and no religious legal system should supersede or replace those principles. All individuals are free to practice their faith, but disputes and legal matters should be resolved under American law. Religious liberty is an important constitutional right, but it does not require incorporating religious law into our legal system.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe the focus should be on enforcing existing laws, prosecuting violent criminals, and improving access to mental health resources rather than creating new restrictions that primarily affect law-abiding gun owners. Any firearm regulations must respect constitutional rights and include strong due process protections. Public safety and individual liberty are not mutually exclusive, and both should be protected.
