QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Colorado Representatives have the duty to protect citizen resources. Colorado's current stance to fund abortion has resulted in Colorado citizens being forced, through their tax dollars, to pay for abortion services. Governance that takes away from its citizens without regard to representative input is non-fiduciary - without care of others.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Under the strict advisement of a physician.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Our nation's foundation document, the Declaration of Independence, reveals the 'endowment, creation, and rights (among them are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness - prosperity). Those whom feel persecuted go to this foundation. I believe this foundation is relevant when arguing about persecution of human life - in the womb through natural death.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
The intentions must be scrutinized. Human embryos hold immeasurable value.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Agree
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
Industry-based wages permit fair competition which is pro-economy and pro-citizen participation. Government interference minimizes this pro-economy truth.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Colorado overreach and dismissal of private property rights has hurt our agriculture and results in great economic harm.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
One need only to examine the newly passed, 2026, Colorado budget to realize prevalent waste that chips away at the taxpayer's rights. In a little over ten years CO budget nearly doubled, now at $46.8 BILLION, while there is a paring back of services in the name of adding administration costs. Additionally, although the CO population is decreased, Medicaid costs increased to six times this fiscal year.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Separation of church and state does not mean separation FROM church and state. Church member activities should not be held at bay from participation in 'state' (governance) matters. This is foundation to our nation's intended protections.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
This goes back to protections of church and state. Participation should not be forced, by the state and not forced by the church.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Let's be truthful. Citizens choose employment 'with benefits'. Among the benefits sought are health care. Government overreach has resulted in forcing and resulting in an unhealthy healthcare system. In a Colorado, decades past, health care was affordable because of a competitive healthcare market. With forced administration and forced subsidies to the industry (who pass this to citizens) , healthcare benefits has become a burden to Colorado citizens and the industry.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
Governance does not mean getting into individual privacy and freedoms.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
I do know that this is true, but what Coloradans want to know is why they should care and how it will impact their economy and well-being. This will be my number one consideration when taking a stance against known threats. My House District has a strong military presence and they are constituents and their input must be part of an equation when legislating matters in relation to CCP concerns.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
The United States has a strong global position because of it's pursuit on multi-country relations. It is strategic and necessary to have airspace, rights for deployed soldiers and civilians and to leverage strength for the good of America's well-being and economy. Our relationship with all allies is important, just as it is important with Israel.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
Historically 'Sanctuary' meant to harbor one sought out for a deemed crime. The stance of most, is not to harbor crime. The focus then should be on undocumented persons' status and therefore local economic (housing, medical, employment & etc) impact. City sovereignty then becomes key. The citizens of the city elect their local representatives to make decisions impacting their economies. State legislators must not set law that burdens this sovereign status by imposing unfunded mandates.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Many educators and education administrators with whom I've engaged in this topic with agree that U.S. DOE is burdensome and does not contribute to the education of its students.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Agree
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
I will always oppose any legislative effort to undermine parental rights and authorities. The state does not parent a child. The parent has the responsibility to positively impact the child's education and health.
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
The key word here is 'attempts'. This means that an authority figure is using their position to coerce a child. Any coerce effort is automatically in appropriate. I will always serve to protect a child from coerce behavior that attempt to socially and physically transition a child.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
The real problem is government overreach. On one hand there are legislators who try to legislate sacred matters and then decry when the church (any) stands from speaking up for church values, impacted by state overreach. Let us not attempt to legislate churches.
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Strongly Disagree
I support expansion of agriculture in the state of Colorado. Gambling is a means to fee and tax another industry, to the detriment of the well-being of Coloradans.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a living soul brought to fulfill a God-willing, purposeful life.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Verification of citizenhood for all civil matters, to include voting, is and should be required.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
The reparations debates will continue as long as the 'colonialism-minded' consider themselves as oppressed. Colonialism was proceeded by many other eras, such as the industrial era. Americans are blessed to be part of our American story and strive to succeed on their merits.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Biological men of any age should not be in the private spaces of girls and women. This poses unnecessary dangerous environments.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Disagree
Technological and climate control led legislation have proven consequential to Coloradans economies. Our agriculture is diminishing, cost of housing, groceries and the economic impact on families due to 'urgent political actions' coming to Colorado will hurt CO families.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Colorado is a mineral rich state and it is impractical and costly for our Coloradan citizens not to utilize the very clean coal and natural energy resources available.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Coloradans need and deserve representation from one who lives in their communities and understands Colorado from the ground up. Feeding and clothing your children should not be burdensome because of legislation that does not act in their best interest. I am not a rich, coddled citizen. We should not take away from hard working Coloradans to feed leftist ideologies. Coloradans have suffered overreach for too long.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The criminal justice system primary goal is to serve the people in hearing and administering criminal cases. The rights of Colorado citizens are not protected through leftist decriminalization of crime and the purposeful closing of detention centers that result in freeing criminals into the communities to victimize others. This is very important for citizens to consider when voting, rather than asking why when a loved one falls to a criminals continued rampage in their communities.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
Above all it is imperative that parents take the reigns (or screens) away from the children's control and take control. Research of youth online time has proven this to be detrimental to the child's well-being. Governance should not be over parents but over entities that intend to sexually exploit children.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
Sharia law or any other 'law' that intends to subvert our nation's laws is unacceptable. The law of the land is the United States Constitution.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The Right to bear arms is a Constitutional right. Americans hold their freedoms and rights dear as they should. No 'law' should be set that circumvents our Constitutional rights. Citizens want more consequential crime punishment instead of crippling legislation that makes them unable to fend off the tyranny of a criminal. I will oppose legislation that impedes the citizen Constitutional right to bear arms.
