I am one hundred percent pro-life. It does not matter the circumstance, an innocent life does not deserve to be taken. Taxpayers definitely should not be paying for abortions.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
An elective abortion should never be allowed, no matter the circumstance. Regardless of how terrible the circumstances of conception may be, an innocent life does not deserve to be terminated.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
To me it prohibits the establishment of a national church. However, it is okay for public servants to exercise their religion publicly. The specific phrase "separation of church and state" does not appear in the Constitution. The First Amendment lines out the fact that there can not be a governmentally established religion, and that the government cannot restrict religion.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
I think that we should maintain a relationship with Israel as an ally. However, I do not think that we need to let the Israeli government drag us into conflict. I also think that no U.S. politician should be allowed to take money from Israeli donors. I think that the level of involvement Israel has in our government presents dangers. As a Christian, I believe that Jews and the land of Israel are significant. However, I do not agree with a lot of decisions made by the Israeli government.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C most closely matches my view on Healthcare which states that Medicaid and Medicare should remain available. However, I think they need to be re-evaluated and limited.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

What is your position on the minimum wage?
I think wages should be market driven, and I do not think that a high minimum wage at the federal level is a good solution. While a high minimum wage may sound good, it ends up causing employers to not employ as many people and other consequences.

It has proven time and time again that capitalism is the most successful and enjoyable economic system.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Number one is to increase transparency at every level of government. Taxpayers' dollars and their usage should always be available to the public and they deserve to know how their money is being spent. Number two would be to completely audit and go through line-by-line expenditures of government at every level to see what unnecessary things can be eliminated. Number three would be to hold onto the money brought in by every level of government, such as reducing foreign aid at the federal level.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

The leaders of sanctuary cities should be held liable for the expenses and dangers brought about by illegal immigrants that they shelter. There is a key word in that statement- illegal. They are committing a crime by being in our country without going through the proper channels. Not only do they present dangers to our citizens and economy, but it is also unfair to the immigrants who came to the United States the right way.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The overarching goal of our criminal justice system should be to keep our citizens safe while respecting their freedoms. Our criminal justice system was designed to bring justice to those that deserve it while protecting victims. This also includes being innocent until proven guilty.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I think the best approach is limited restrictions. We need to enforce what we already have in place, such as background checks and prosecuting illegal firearm possession. However, citizens have the right to bear arms. This is not limited to hunting. They have the right to defend themselves. Taking that away is a Constitutional violation, no matter how it is spun.
