QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should never subsidize abortion providers. In education, this means completely blocking groups like Planned Parenthood from securing taxpayer-funded vendor contracts or developing health and sex-education curriculums in our schools. these programs have served as a Trojan horse to introduce radical identity politics into the schools.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

none

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Not an SBE issue. My focus is equipping students for high paying career wages through workforce pathways and financial literacy, rather than framing entry level service jobs as lifelong career destinations.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1. Eliminating spending on closed or empty school facilities. 2. Reforming costly leasing structures, such as the Denver Schools Facilities Leasing Corporation, to prevent paying to lease back our own buildings. 3. Cutting administrative bloat to redirect funds directly to classrooms. 4. Auditing non-academic vendor contracts and consultants for redundancy. 5. Capping unnecessary out-of-district travel and bureaucratic retreats.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It means that the government cannot control or interfere with the church. The constitution protects the free exercise of religion and never says "separation of church and state". Faith, foundational Christian values, and moral principles are baked into the constitution. They are protected from being banned from public service and the public square.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Healthcare policy lies outside the statutory authority of the State Board of Education. My sole focus in this area is how health programs impact our K-12 schools. I advocate for removing identity politics from school clinics, returning to objective reality, and ensuring absolute parental notification and consent for all student healthcare decisions.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

Student medical tracking has no place in public education. K-12 health records must remain completely private, secure, and under the sole control of parents.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

While foreign policy is a federal matter, national security threats intersect with K-12 education. The State Board of Education must stay vigilant in protecting student data privacy from foreign cyber threats and ensuring our public school curriculums are entirely free from foreign political influence and propaganda.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, The Bible establishes the profound spiritual importance of Israel. From a geopolitical standpoint, Israel is our strongest, most critical ally against terrorism and a vital partner for liberty in a volatile region.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Eliminating federal overreach is a vital first step, but power shouldn't just stop at the state level. Schools exist to serve parents and local communities, not a centralized government agenda. Our mission is to graduate productive young adults ready to inherit our businesses and civic institutions, not treat children like state-controlled financial assets. True local control means restoring educational authority entirely to families and local boards.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

Foreign entities have no place financing or influencing American K-12 education. We must prohibit foreign funding to protect our classrooms from hostile political propaganda, ideological curriculum meddling, and unauthorized student data-harvesting.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Parents, not the state, possess the fundamental right to direct their children's education and healthcare. K-12 systems must operate with absolute transparency, ensuring explicit parental notification and consent for all medical, psychological, or ideological decisions affecting their children.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Schools have a strict duty to protect children and honor parental authority. Our K-12 public education systems must remain grounded in biological reality, protect student privacy in sex-segregated spaces, and completely halt the practice of transitioning children behind parents' backs.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

This is a matter of deep personal faith and biblical conviction, though it lies completely outside the jurisdiction and statutory authority of the State Board of Education.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a non- denominational Christian and a local small business owner operator. I am community, first, accountability-driven, and spirituality discerning. As a conservative I value small government, integrity, fascial and personal responsibility, and protecting families and children. I do my best to apply these values across my faith, business, politics, and life.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Government policy should focus on equal opportunity, not equal outcomes based on race. In education, our resources must be dedicated to academic excellence, ensuring every child—regardless of background—has the tools to graduate and earn career-level wages.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Protecting the fairness of women's sports and the privacy of sex-segregated spaces like locker rooms and bathrooms is a fundamental safety issue. Our public schools must remain grounded in biological reality to protect the dignity, privacy, and safety of female students.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

Climate policy falls outside SBE authority. K-12 education should focus on objective scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and basic economic reality rather than pushing politically driven alarmism or one-sided agendas in our curriculum.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Natural gas, nuclear, and oil provide reliable baseload power. Solar and wind are too intermittent and inconsistent to safely meet Colorado's growing electrical grid demand.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

While modern media often pushes extreme labels, my platform represents common-sense values that were considered mainstream and bipartisan not long ago. I am focused on timeless, foundational principles: protecting parental rights, ensuring academic excellence over political agendas, fiscal responsibility, and true local parental control.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

Yes. 23 years ago, while intoxicated, I entered an unlocked car looking for a cigarette. Because I honestly told the officer my intent was to take a cigarette if I found one, the charge became a class 5 felony criminal trespass instead of a misdemeanor. I took full accountability and resolved it. I have many years of sobriety since then, achieved through prayer and God's mercy giving me strength to overcome. My focus is entirely on my faith, business and serving Colorado's families today.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

Uphold the rule of law, protect the innocent, ensure true accountability, and carry out justice.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

In our schools, this means strict internet filtering on all school issued devices, blocking harmful digital content, and keeping explicit or predatory materials completely away from students.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
