QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
There should never be any circumstances where elective abortion is allowed. Abortion is murder and should be prosecuted as such.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Every human being is made in the image of God and deserves equal protection before the law.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Agree
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
I am completely opposed to SQ 832 and any increase in the minimum wage generally. Raising the minimum wage only results in an increase in inflation and the cost of living while decreasing economic opportunities for lower income Americans.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Waste is common throughout the government as shown by D.O.G.E. and it must be aggressively rooted out of our system. Decreasing the number of excessive school administrators while also decreasing the number of school districts ensures that our educational system will run more efficiently and will have more money available for actual educational benefits. Additionally, ensuring there is no fraud in our government benefits programs is another top priority.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The phrase “Separation of Church and State” refers to the restrictions placed on the government in the First Amendment. Those restrictions are that the government cannot prevent anyone from freely exercising their religious beliefs while also ensuring that the federal government does not create an establishment of religion.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C is the closest answer. However, both of those programs need auditing to ensure that they are not being exploited and that the funds devoted to them go to persons who actually require them.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
The government should not be creating a database of personal medical information for Americans as doing so would be an invasion of their privacy.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Israel is the only western country in the Middle East and therefore is the only country in the region that in any significant capacity shares similar values with the United States. As such having a strong relationship with them as a country is in the interest of the United States, especially when it comes to attempting to stop the threat posed by Islamic terrorism.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
No city should be protecting illegal aliens. No amnesty should be given to them regardless of how long they have been in the United States, and all must be deported.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Neutral
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian, and that informs everything that I do. That faith serves as the baseline for the beliefs and values that I hold. One such belief is that all persons are made in the image of God and therefore are of equal moral worth and deserving of equal protection of our laws. Any worldview not grounded by a belief in God is a worldview that ultimately is no more than just a person’s opinion.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Election security is of paramount concern as any violation of election laws threatens the integrity of the entire process. Requiring a photo ID to vote is an incredibly low barrier to provide increased security to the election process.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Disagree
The United States, and western countries generally, produce far fewer CO2 emissions when compared to places like China and India. Even if Man-Made climate change were to be a global threat the urgent political action would be focused on those countries and not the United States.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear power is a safe, cheap, and reliable source of energy that is being severely under utilized in our nation and deserves to be expanded greatly and allow for cheaper electricity.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The goal of the criminal justice system is to ensure justice is served by correcting the wrongs done by the criminal as best as can be reasonably achieved and to then punish them for having committed those wrongs.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The 2nd Amendment protects the right to keep and bear arms to ensure every citizen has the means to protect their country, themselves, and their family. As with any other right if a person is to have their rights restricted they must first have been duly convicted of a crime in a court of law, and only then can their fundamental rights be restricted.
