QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I believe no taxpayer dollars--local, state, or federal--should ever be used to fund or subsidize abortion providers. Our state's resources should be focused on supporting mothers and families through life-afforming care and adoption services, not ending the lives of the unborn.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
I believe in the sanctity of every human life from conception until natural death. My position is that abortion should only be considered if rape and/or incest occurred, and in the rare and tragic circumstance where it is medically necessary to save the life of the mother. We must protect both lives whenever possible.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
I believe in the self-evident truth that all men are created and endowed by their Creator with an unalienable right to life. As a constitutional conservative, I believe that the 'Equal Protection' clause should be applied to the most vulnerable among us--the preborn. Our legal system should protect every human life with the same vigor, whether they inside or outside the womb.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
I believe every human life begins at conception, and that includes embryos created through IVF. While I support the desire of families to conceive, we must ensure that our laws reflect the sanctity of these lives. I stand with the Oklahoma GOP platform in affirming that every human life, at every stage, deserves the protection of our laws.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Agree
Oklahoma has made its position clear: we are a pro-life state. However, our laws are currently being undermined by the mailing of illegal abortion drugs into our communities. I support enforcement of federal laws like the Comstock Act to stop the flow of these materials and ensure that Oklahoma's commitment to protecting the unborn is not bypassed by mail-order loopholes.
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
My position on Minimum Wage is for "Market-Driven Wages" rather than "Mandated Inflation". If an "Automatic Inflation Trigger" based on the cost of living in large metropolitans became law in Oklahoma our local diners & feed stores would close.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
As a businessman, I know that free enterprise is the only system that creates true prosperity. The right to own and manage private property without undue government interference is fundamental to the American Dream. When the government protects property rights and stays out of the way of innovators and small business owners, our economy thrives, jobs are created, and our community grows stronger. I will fight against government overregulation and overreach that threatens these essential rights.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
My priorities on eliminating government waste focus on the need to eliminate the bureaucracy that creates it by improving our processes. Every state program needs a "Sunset Clause". If a program can't prove it met its 12-month performance goals, its funding auto diverts back to General Fund or towards tax relief. We need "Open-Book" Performance Investigations to measure "Out per Dollar" on agency spending. Agencies spending more on legal battles than on infrastructure is a failure of efficiency
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Our Founders built a 'wall of protection' to keep government from interfering in sacred affairs of the church. Our religious liberties are inalienable, God-given rights that the state did not grant and therefore cannot take away. This Jeffersonian principle ensures that government is prohibited from establishing a national religion. It's about protecting the sanctuary from the state and ensuring government power is never used to coerce or infringe upon the religious expressions of the people.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Freedom of conscience is the foundation of a free society. I believe that no Oklahoman should be forced by the government to participate in or provide a service that directly violates their deeply held religious or moral convictions. Whether it is a small business owner, a medical professional, or a creative artist, our laws must protect the right of individuals to live and work according to their faith without fear of state-sponsored harassment or legal retaliation.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Answer:(C) I chose C because I believe healthcare decisions belong to patients and doctors, not unelected bureaucrats. While we must maintain our commitment to our seniors and the truly vulnerable through Medicare & Medicaid, expanding these into a 'one-size-fits-all' government system would destroy the competition that drives medical innovation and would lead to rationing of care that we see in socialized systems.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
The government has no business keeping a ledger of the private health struggles of Oklahomans. Medical history is a private matter between patient and their doctor. Using citizens' health data to calculate an "economic burden" is a cold, bureaucratic approach that violates our fundamental right to privacy and opens the door for discrimination.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
I've spent 30 years in manufacturing; I've seen firsthand how foreign IP theft undermines American innovation. The CCP is a strategic adversary that exploits our open markets while threatening our national security. We must protect our industrial base and citizens across the country, especially right here in District 8, from cyber-attacks and unfair economic coercion to ensure our workers can compete on a level playing field.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
YES - The U.S.-Israel relationship is vital for both national security and regional stability. Israel is a key democratic ally and critical partner in intelligence sharing and defense technology. A stable Middle-East is essential for global energy and markets, which has direct impact on Oklahoma's economy. Supporting Israel is not just about shared values; it's about a realistic strategy for peace through strength.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
I'm a firm believer in the Rule of Law. Sanctuary city policies undermine the ability of local law enforcement to work with state and federal agencies to keep our communities safe. When local governments pick and choose which laws to follow, a 'two-tiered' justice system is created which is unfair to legal citizens and creates a magnet for illegal activity. I stand with our Sheriffs and Police Chiefs who want to cooperate fully to ensure public safety and national security.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Education is a state and local responsibility, not a federal one. I support eliminating the Federal Department of Education if those tax dollars are returned to Oklahoma as block grants. This would ensure that our local school boards, who know our children's names, are the one's making decisions, not unelected bureaucrats in Washington D.C. who don't understand our rural values in Oklahoma.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
We cannot allow foreign adversaries to buy influence in our classrooms or our research labs. I strongly support legislation that prohibits hostile foreign governments from funding Oklahoma educational institutions. Protecting our students from foreign indoctrination and protecting our intellectual property is a matter of both national and state security.
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
I believe parents are the ultimate authority in a child's life. Government should exist to support the family unit, not replace it. Whether it's medical decisions or educational choices, Oklahoma should always default to parental consent and school transparency.
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Our laws should reflect basic biological reality and protect children from making life-altering decisions before they're adults. I support Oklahoma's current ban on these procedures for minors and believe we must prioritize the long-term physical and psychological health of our youth over experimental ideologies.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
I stand with the vast majority of Oklahoma families who believe that the traditional family unit, led by a mother and a father, is the foundation of a stable society. Government does not have the authority to redefine an institution that predates it.
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Strongly Disagree
Oklahoma is currently at a saturation point with gambling. I support the current 2026 efforts (SB 1589) to ban predatory sweepstakes casinos. We should be focused on growing our economy through manufacturing and agriculture, not by expanding state-sponsored gambling that disproportionately hurts hard working Oklahoma families.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My spiritual beliefs and values are rooted in my Christian faith, which serves as the moral compass for how I conduct my life, my business, and my public service. I was raised in the same church I attend today, and that lifelong foundation taught me the values of integrity, hard work, and 'loving your neighbor' in action. I am not a politician who seeks to impose my faith through the power of the state, but I am a man of faith whose values will always inform my fight for the families of District 8.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I believe that a photo ID is a basic and essential requirement to ensure the integrity of our elections. To have a secure 'one citizen, one vote' system, we must verify the identity of every voter. Requiring an ID is a common-sense measure that protects the value of every legal vote and builds public trust in our democratic process. I am a firm supporter of Oklahoma's Voter ID laws and will fight any effort to weaken our election security.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
We should never forget our history, and we must learn from the tragedies of the past, but I do not believe in holding today's taxpayers financially responsible for the actions of generations long gone. Taxpayer-funded reparations are divisive and fiscally irresponsible. My focus is on creating a thriving economy in District 8 today--where every Oklahoman, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to work, succeed, and build a better future for their own family.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
I believe in protecting the integrity of women's sports and the safety of women's private spaces. Biological reality matters. In Oklahoma, we have passed common-sense laws to ensure that our daughters and granddaughters have a level playing field and can feel safe in bathrooms and locker rooms. I will always stand for privacy and fairness that biological women deserve.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Disagree
I believe in being good stewards of our environment, but I strongly disagree with 'urgent political action' that serves as a Trojan Horse for higher taxes and federal overreach. We should focus on innovation and market-driven solutions, not government mandates that drive up utility bills and punish Oklahoma's energy producers. Our priority must be energy independence and affordability, not radical policies that threaten our economy.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
For a 24/7 economy like ours, Natural Gas is the undisputed backbone of a reliable grid. It is abundant in Oklahoma, affordable, and it provides the essential 'baseload' power that intermittent sources like wind and solar simply cannot match.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I am a constitutional conservative who believes in limited government, individual liberty, and the rule of law. My 'Very Conservative' worldview is shaped by 30 years in the manufacturing industry, where I learned that you cannot spend more than you take in and that government regulations are the greatest hurdle to the American Dream. I am committed to protecting our traditional values, defending the unborn, and ensuring Oklahoma remains a fortress of freedom.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
NO
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
NO
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The primary goal of the criminal justice system must be to ensure public safety and the rule of law. This requires a 3 pillared approach: 1) Accountability: Ensuring violent offenders serve sentences reflecting gravity of their crime. 2) Modernization: Support 2026 sentencing classes for consistency and transparency across all 77 counties. 3) Efficiency: Prioritizing resources to avoid running 'high-security nursing homes' for aging, non-violent inmates and keep the most dangerous behind bars.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
I strongly agree that protecting our children from online predators and AI-generated exploitation is a core function of public safety. In 2026, the threats have evolved, and our laws must evolve with them. I support current efforts by our Attorney General and Legislature to hold big tech companies accountable for the safety of their platforms. Families shouldn't have to fight billion-dollar tech companies alone to keep their kids safe.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
I believe the U.S. Constitution and the Oklahoma Constitution must be the sole authority in our courts. I support current 2026 legislative efforts (HJR 1040) to ensure that no foreign legal code or religious political ideology, including Sharia Law, is ever incorporated into our judicial system. Our laws must protect the fundamental rights of all Oklahomans, and we cannot allow those rights to be undermined by foreign legal precepts.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The Second Amendment is clear: the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Restrictions on law-abiding citizens do not increase public safety: they only empower criminals who ignore the law. To protect the public, we should focus on strictly enforcing existing laws against violent criminals and addressing the mental health crisis in our State. I support Oklahoma's status as a Second Amendment Sanctuary State and will fight against any federal or state overreach violating due process.
