The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
A: If we have the ability to intervene in conflicts which do not require risk of soldiers or a large expenditure of treasure, we should. B: But we should not just selectively help countries, we should help countries as described in my answer above. C) "Imminent danger" is just too ambiguous for me to adopt without stating here that the term itself is not easily agreed upon. We also make alliances, which are commitments, and we must always strive to honor them.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

I believe China is far more dangerous than most Americans realize. For the most part, Americans see what China wants us to see. We don't see the millions of people kept as political prisoners, or the slave-like labor making our products - which in turn gives China a bigger market share of so many products the world consumes - at the cost to American industry and jobs.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
This is an absolute critical relationship and commitment to keep. For Israel to remain in existence, it cannot afford to lose a single war. It is a fully functioning and open democracy with an estimated 250,000 Americans with dual citizenship with Israel. Israel is also surrounded by a religion that has always sought conversion through violent means. We cannot forget this.
Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We should never award resident or citizen status to anyone who entered illegally. To do so would necessarily mean an individual has the right to remain simply because he snuck through the border. Such a law would be absurd. But we must also grip reality and selectively grant legal status to those who have been lawful,a benefit to the U.S., and for other reasons. Laws must be followed, otherwise it leads to what we are dealing with currently. Open borders should never have happened.
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

All cities, counties and states are subject to federal law, and have no right to flout it. All laws are written for safety or fairness, directly or indirectly.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

I apologize but I find the inquiry too general. I have no problem with a foreign government financing the American education of one of its citizens. I would object to a foreign government financing an American school because that would come with too many opportunities for undue influence and corruption.

I consider myself not religious. I was raised in a Presbyterian household, with my father a minister of that church. I do, however, feel that the tenets of Christianity are 100% compatible with my American values of kindness, fairness, forgiveness and personal responsibility.

Currently, fossil fuel. Until other technologies advance to replace oil, we must not impose other types of energy on the public, which comes at great costs to all of us.

On economic policies, I am conservative. On some of the social policies which arose over the past 50 years, I am best described as moderate or leaning conservative. On the newer social-agenda policies which now dominate the public discussion - and which I am so actively against - I would be classsified as very conservative. In all, children must be allowed to be children. They must be educated, not indoctrinated.
