QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Neutral
I believe life begins at birth, prior to that the fetus is an appendage of the mother. That said I am sensitive to others beliefs and believe abortion should not be given out willy-nilly as birth control. That said if there is a case where the mothers life is in danger there should be no question if the established or potential life should maintain viability
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Disagree
No, they are the property of the parents and can be sold, given, destroyed as they see fit, Further I do not believe we need a department of embryos, think of the bureaucracy involved, let's keep it simple a mother, a father and doctor.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Any, I cannot think of a humane way to 'check' for a reason. It is better to let someone slip through wanting an abortion for simple birth control reasons than to make a victim carry her assaulter's child
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Neutral
The whole healthcare system needs reform. I guess this is kind of an answer, I believe abortion is health care.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Disagree
Things have come quite a ways since 1873, Telemedicine was quite a way off in those days. Think of the repercussions!
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Disagree
Unregulated enterprise and the worship of money are why we are in the situation in which we find ourselves where we are today
People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.
Agree
Yes, in fact people who could afford to pay a lot more should do so to reduce the debt which people of the Epstein class brought upon us. The debt should not fall on the poor, we saw the rich get richer, but we saw no personal benefit.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Disagree
The people have had their services cut to the bone! Perhaps we should reduce the Pentagon's budget and ask the rich to pay the same percentage as a teacher or cop
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
1. Public Audit of the Pentagon 2. Loosen Classification guidelines to allow the public to see where its black money is spent 3. Eliminate the testing of AI at government jobs.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Agree
As part of the agreement you made with the government to become a business, you implicitly agreed to serve the public. An individual (not a licensed sole-proprietor) doesn't have the same responsibility to provide for the public.
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The government shall not establish or bolster any church, I differ with the existing thought on the matter and believe religious organizations can and should be taxed on their profits (eg a small struggling church making no money would pay no taxes, a megachurch or a televangelist should be taxed, heavily in some cases, based on an overhead vs profit model)
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
a.)I unfortunately found myself on Medicare at the age of 40 due to having multiple sclerosis. It should be available to everyone, life long and not needing a chronic health condition. Similarly my wife was only able to get on Medicaid while she was pregnant. During the pregnancy she fell and fractured her leg but due to the baby coming 3 weeks early and losing the healthcare after he was born she was unable to go to her last appoint for her leg to make sure it had healed properly.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Disagree
not really necessary to form a database and track, enough anecdotal evidence exists and government databases of citizens with "issue" scares the bejesus outta me
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
`I think C, we do not have any political will to fight anywhere, the past 20 years have exhausted us as a country.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Agree
I agree they are our biggest Geo-political foe, I do however believe we would only be in military conflict with them if we did something stupid. On the same subject I don't think we should do anything stupid to support Taiwan
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Not really, they have caused us nothing but trouble since 1948
Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.
Neutral
It is a threat, I believe an overreaching foreign policy is the root
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
anyone/any reason
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Agree
I understand the chilling effects of having any government interaction result in an immigration enforcement . (eg I want my undocumented neighbors to call the fire department, rather than run and hide while our block burns down.)
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Disagree
I would rather have a solid education foundation for everyone. The education of a minor should not be poor or excellent depending on where you happen to live. It's not like children have any control over that. They rely on the adults around them to do what is best for them and to make sure they can grow and lean.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Agree
Sounds good? didn't know this was an issue
VALUES
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Disagree
when you make it overly simple its a gotcha question. Is a doctor involved? A psychiatrist? or just crazy uncle Randy? It makes a big difference
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Disagree
supposing the premise is true the government has no business granting marriages, that is a brazen violation of the first amendment of the US. Luckily marriage in the US is more akin to a contract, which the grantor of the contract may alter in any way prior to execution of said contract
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I consider myself a follower of Jesus, I love the red letters! they contain so much wisdom. I differ from mainline Christians in that I believe the Lords covenant with the state of Israel ended when Jesus was crucified and the curtain ripped in the Temple on his death and everyone was able to commune with God themselves without an intercessor. That is kinda key to Christianity. But anyway my religious beliefs are mine and have no place in the United States' laws
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Agree
I do believe the US citizenry needs to have intellectual curiosity before doing short sighted fixes for problems that don't exist.
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Disagree
there are more hermaphrodites transitioning than trans athletes, gotcha question? oversimplification of an issue to make it scandalous
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
It is obviously nuclear, but try getting that built.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
no
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
no
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Choose not to answer
I'm an American, some problems have conservative answers, some have a liberal solution, I am a gun owner, multiple sclerosis patient, a father, a husband, I believe the rich should pay taxes, I believe in Medicare for all
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Neutral
Does government? I would agree with industry having a responsibility to stop it and report it.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
no gun restrictions, but a heavy licensing scheme (easy test for a bolt action .22, hard test for a blacked out AR). Like driver's licenses, easier to get for a Moped and more difficult for a 18-wheeler.
