What is your position on the minimum wage?
Obviously there are many employers that seek to exploit workers and minimum wage is one of the protective barriers. Therefore it is important to have it. Fair compensation through room, board, barter and trade.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Stop unfunded mandates in California, and return power to cities for the cleanup of their streets, housing of their unhoused, building of their police forces, and fire departments, instead of hiring a middle men to distribute taxpayer dollars through NGOs, special interest and non-profits. Create a bridge between private investment and SBA to fund small business, directly with no government interference or diverting funding. Build strong infrastructure projects with California, based builders.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It is impossible to separate them. Our constitution clearly defines unalienable rights. God is everyone and everything.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

The question is too big to answer in a small block. It is also weirdly communist, why would and an individual or a business be in a service that was violating their moral or religious believes. The greatest thing about America is the freedom of choice, both individually and in business.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
It is a combination between B and C. Without healthy competition in a medical field, including insurance, private healthcare would become impossible to afford. This would force everyone to a underdeveloped structure of government healthcare where the level of service is so poor, most go to too long without attention. Without competition not only do prices increase, but service decreases.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

The government should ask if they want to collect any data of anyone. No one should be required to share private medical data.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

As a governor of California, my focus will be California, and I am hopeful our federal government, and president, will work to protect our state from global threats, and California will cooperate in all protection related legislation recommendations.

Of course it is an important relationship, Israel is one of our greatest allies in the Middle East.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Sanctuary cities come under unfunded mandates. As a governor of California we will not break the law to protect criminals. It is wildly unfair to assert protecting undocumented aliens resembles any kind of sanctuary. With no resources for food, housing, medical care, path to citizenship, and in what world does that resemble a sanctuary. We need to focus on 11 million documented aliens already in the process of trying to become citizens.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

We are at a strange time in education. Every community is different, and what we are doing is not working, especially here in California. I support no phones in school, K-12 bell to bell. This one idea has a 71% of increase in learning. Imagine if we let communities work together and stop using our schools as babysitting facilities.

If we are talking about slavery, California is a state that never had slavery, non of the people here were ever slaves, and you are talking about the country who worked painstakingly to abolish slavery countrywide. So no, I do not agree, and we should all get back to work.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
To reduce crime, with a number one goal of safety for all Americans. It must be a just system, it can not be corrupted by outside influences. We can not have for profit prisons unless the money goes to the families of incarcerated. We must create legitimate second change hiring programmes, and criminal justice systems could and should participate in these long-term goals.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Only in that we should have a rating system like we used to have during the movies. Why can not we require social media companies to rate their content, it would encourage people to provide better content for broader audiences, just like the movies. It worked for many years, we should at least give it a try.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
