OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

IVF is a legitimate medical treatment that helps families. However, embryos should be treated respectfully.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Rape, incest, or health of the mother.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

The health and mental well-being of mothers must come first. When financial incentives are the driving force behind abortions, it stops becoming about the health of the human. Planned Parenthood stopped reporting potential abusers manipulating their partners to get abortions.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Disagree

The SCOTUS decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health ended federal constitutional protection for abortion and returned regulatory authority largely to states.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Disagree

I agree that there should be tax relief for working families. However, taxes should be predictable, limited, and broadly shared. There ABSOLUTELY needs to be fiscal accountability for those taxes that are paid, so people don't feel like they are being taken advantage of for fraudulent programs.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Agree

The government should cut spending and balance a budget for the first time in decades... American families live within a budget. We need to see that our elected officials can do so also.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1) Fund programs based on results, not promises. Taxpayer funding should follow measurable success, not intentions or political pressure. 2) Conduct regular waste audits of all federal programs. Every federal program should be reviewed periodically for effectiveness and efficiency. 3) Require transparency and public reporting of spending. Taxpayers should be able to see where their money goes and what results it produces. 4) Eliminate fraud, improper payments, and abuse.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Individuals and private businesses should NOT be required to provide services that violate their moral and/or religious beliefs. SCOTUS has upheld this in a number of cases: 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis, Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission, Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., and more.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

While "separation of church and state" are not included in our Constitution, our founding fathers fled countries where the state or monarchy were the heads of churches. In the U.S., the government is NOT the head of churches and the government must remain neutral toward religion.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. But no one should be FORCED to participate in any health insurance program. Outside of emergency care, our healthcare system is broken and needs to be rethought and created to where prevention is a more core part of helping educate families to get and stay healthy.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

Surveys of cost can be conducted without collecting a database of individuals by name.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

The United States has become too involved in others' policies--at our own expense--and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Israel is a strong Western ally. Many of our previous allies have been taken over through open borders policies.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

The United States should welcome immigrants who respect our laws, share our commitment to becoming part of the American community, and contribute positively to our economy and society. Immigration should be lawful, orderly, and fair — with clear standards, secure borders, and a system that rewards responsibility, work, and respect for our nation.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support sanctuary city policies because public safety depends on cooperation between local, state, and federal law enforcement. Many American citizens have been killed and injured due to sanctuary policies. We can be compassionate while still enforcing our laws fairly and consistently.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

I support returning more control to states and local communities because the results of centralized federal oversight have been mixed at best. Despite decades of federal expansion, student achievement in reading and math has declined, and costs have increased. My priority is not eliminating support for education, but ensuring that funding reaches classrooms, decisions are made closer to families, and programs are judged by measurable outcomes.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Disagree

While a Church or Temple has the right to determine who is allowed to be married under their faith, SCOTUS has held that the government does have authority to define civil marriage.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My faith is central to my life. It guides my commitment to serve others with integrity, compassion, and respect. I believe in the dignity of every person, personal responsibility, and caring for our communities. While my faith is deeply personal, my role in public service is to represent and serve people of all beliefs with fairness and humility.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I stand with the clear majority of California voters (65%–70%) that support requiring photo ID to vote.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

A balanced mix of nuclear power, natural gas, hydropower, and expanding renewable energy supported by modern grid storage. Our priority should be reliability, affordability, and resilience, not dependence on any single source.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

Never.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

Never.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I consider myself a conservative who believes in personal responsibility, strong families, fiscal discipline, respect for the Constitution, and practical solutions that strengthen our communities and protect our freedoms.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I strongly support the Second Amendment and the rights of law-abiding citizens to own firearms. Protecting public safety starts with enforcing existing laws, keeping guns out of the hands of violent criminals, and supporting responsible gun ownership through background checks and strong penalties for illegal use of firearms.
