Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
No government entity should give money to an organization like Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood and organizations like it should be supported by their advocates with private money.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Rape, incest, health of the mother.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
I am not a fan of the minimum wage. Why? It creates more unemployment and hurts the groups it is designed to help. This is not a matter of conjecture. It's a positive economic fact, rooted in math and rooted in practice. Markets work better.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

They are the reason America exists. Capitalism raises standards of living and gives opportunities to people. I am a strong believer in the tenets of Milton Friedman, Adam Smith, Gary Becker, Ronald Coase, and the Chicago School of Economics. I was a commodity trader for years, the last bastion of free market capitalism. I doubt seriously that anyone in this race understands and has practiced capitalism at the same level as I do and did.

Introduce artificial intelligence technology to automate commoditized processes, allowing people to do more. In the Treasury, Nevada has a lot of bonds trading under par. Make a market for them, reduce the debt. Install and utilize new modernized payment rails that enable efficient, fast payments, using traditional payments and $USDT/$USDC Eliminate the Commerce Tax Eliminate prevailing wage rules in Infrastructure Bank Get rid of DEI/ESG investing in the Treasurer's office
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Separation of church and state means the state cannot interfere in the church, dictate to the church, or control the church. The state shouldn't give the church money beyond tax breaks. The church should not control any part of the state. The rights of man are God given, not government-granted. Our Constitution and rule of law protect citizens from government so citizens can freely exercise their God-given rights. This does not mean government denies the existence of God. In God We Trust...
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C or D. We do not have a free market in healthcare. If we did, we'd have better care, cheaper care, and more people would be able to access it. Obamacare, the idea of universal health care, is against what the US stands for. It should be repealed.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

The CCP wants our demise. They are trying to win in America by buying our institutions, and hollowing us out from the inside.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. They are a critical ally in the Middle East. They are the only free market democracy in the Middle East. We must ally with them, and help protect them. More importantly, Israel is incredibly entrepreneurial and resourceful. They are a huge benefit to the US.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

This is no different than having a Confederacy. You cannot choose to follow laws you don't like. Change the law, protest the law, but you cannot violate the law. Our immigration system needs to be rethought. It is broken. America benefits from legal immigration. America gets hurt from illegal immigration. I love immigrants. Grateful they want to come to America to have a better life.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Parents choose. Not government mandating. Covid showed us how the government could act in a totalitarian manner to stop us from having freedom and exercising our rights. I believe traditional vaccines are good for us (Covid wasn't). However, the speed of the schedule for those vaccines might need to change or be looked at.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

I think there is room here for a civil ceremony. Not everyone is religious. I do think even if it is a man/man or woman/woman, it should be monogamous. I also strongly believe the government has no right to interfere in what a church sees as its beliefs regarding marriage. Because we have tax laws, and other laws, we need a civil marriage document that shows two people are legally bound, not just religiously bound.
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

I am not against gambling, though I don't gamble. My state (Nevada) has the most liberal gambling laws. Prediction markets should NOT be allowed into sports gambling. It has no societal benefit.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian. I was raised Presbyterian. The church left me, and went to the far left wing. I am more intellectual in my Christian belief than evangelical. I believe strongly in the teachings of Jesus and hope that I will be saved by His grace. I believe people ought to have integrity. People should treat others as they want to be treated. I believe there are many paths to Christ. There is not one true religion. I can go to another denominations service, or a non-denominational and get something out of it. I can learn something that can bring me closer to God. I prayed before I entered this race to try and understand if this was the right thing to do. God is ever present.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Nope. We need voter ID. Too much is at stake and there is a strong incentive to cheat. Voter ID and cleaning voter rolls is a must. Elimination of ballot harvesting, a must. Tightening up early voting is a must. Requesting a mail in ballot is a good idea. A SoS that mails one to every registered voter invites fraud.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

We shed gallons of blood in the 1800s to remove the original sin of slavery from our land. We don't need to do any more.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Who thinks this is a good idea? They are crazy. I had girls who participated in sports. The girls who have to play against boys pay the ultimate price. Their parents also pay a price being forced to watch it, like torture.

We should be mindful of our climate but also recognize the costs/opportunity costs. Global warming is just an excuse for more government control. It's not serious science the way it was practiced after Al Gore postulated that it was happening. It's not based in hard replicable science. Statistically, it has been disproven.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear. Lots and lots of nuclear. Solar can be used in isolated cases where it provides energy for a focused job, like on a house where the sun shines a lot.

I am probably the most free market capitalist that has ever run for office. I spent 25 years on a trading floor competing in interest rate futures. Nine out of ten people failed. I am a strong believer in the Chicago School of Economics (Classical).

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
If you committed a crime, make sure you pay the right price for committing it. If you go to jail, society ought to work to rehabilitate you. When you are released, you ought to be able to make a life for yourself in civil society, and not commit crimes again.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Sharia law is religious law that the practitioners think supercede actual civil law. It doesn't. Sharia is diametrically opposed to the ideas of our Constitution and capitalism. It should never be accepted
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
If you can determine that the person purchasing a gun has a mental health issue, stopping them from purchasing it is a GREAT idea. We need to have fewer, and better written gun laws. Government cannot, but people should create a culture of gun safety. Regulations on guns never work. The criminals do not care. Red flag laws like my opponent advocated for in the past are dumb.
