I believe every human life has inherent dignity and deserves legal protection from conception until natural death. I believe society has a responsibility to protect the most vulnerable among us, especially those who cannot speak for themselves. As a candidate for CCSD Trustee, however, my responsibility is to focus on education, student achievement, school safety, parental involvement, fiscal accountability, and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed. I believe schools should respond with compassion, support, and practical resources—not judgment. A student facing an unwanted or crisis pregnancy should have access to counseling, academic support, and connections to qualified community resources so she can remain safe, stay in school, and pursue her future. Parents should be appropriately involved, consistent with the law and the student’s rights. Schools should support families—not replace parents. Most importantly, no student should feel that pregnancy means the end of her education or her future. We should protect the dignity of the student and unborn child while providing meaningful choices, support, and opportunity.

System is broken. However, education is vital. I believe broad student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to taxpayers who may have never attended college or already paid their loans. We should focus instead on making higher education more affordable, improving financial literacy, expanding career and technical education, and holding institutions accountable for rising costs. People should have opportunities to succeed without transferring debt from one group of Americans.

I support strong public investment in education from Pre-K through college, but funding must be tied to results and accountability. Every dollar should prioritize students, teachers, classrooms, and career preparation—not bureaucracy. Education is an investment in Nevada’s future, and taxpayers deserve to see measurable results from the money we spend. Sadly, CCSD has this problem resulting in dwindling attendance, charter enrollment, and home schooling by parents

To me, separation of church and state means government cannot establish or favor a religion, nor can it interfere with a student’s or family’s freedom to practice their faith. Public schools should remain neutral, respect religious liberty, and treat every student equally. Politics has no place in schools. This is reserved to parental choices. We can protect both freedom of religion, freedom from government-imposed religion while allowing students to express their sincerely held beliefs legally

Federal Issue - Supremacy Clause. I support the rule of law and believe ICE has an important federal responsibility to identify and detain individuals who are in the country illegally, particularly when public safety is at risk. As a CCSD Trustee, my focus is on keeping schools safe, protecting students and staff, respecting constitutional rights, and ensuring that immigration enforcement remains the responsibility of the federal government—not local school boards.

I agree. I have worked in STAR program. It is a issue that needs great attention. Students need a safe, orderly environment to learn, and that requires clear expectations and consistent, fair consequences for inappropriate behavior. Discipline should be firm, fair, age-appropriate, and focused on accountability and rehabilitation—not simply punishment. Teachers must be supported, and every student deserves a safe classroom where learning comes first.

Local schools understand their needs. But there has to be accountability for opportunity to present itself. As Supporter eliminating the U.S. Dept. of Education education is primarily a state and local responsibility and that reducing federal involvement could give communities greater control over curriculum, spending, and school policy. Protection? The federal courts play an important role in protecting civil rights, supporting students with disabilities.
