Forcing a clinic to keep embryos indefinitely will make the IVF process cost prohibitive. If you want IVF and create embryos, under the 'protect from purposeful destruction' law would force clinics and patients to anticipate the costs of indefinite storage: you would have to deposit enough money to freeze the embryos indefinitely. This could make the whole thing cost prohibitive. Perhaps a law limited the number of embryos you create at one time is more thoughtful.

Mail order abortion drugs are dangerous. It's dangerous to take them without medical supervision. It is dangerous to make this drug available easily- think about boyfriends who don't want their pregnant counterpart to carry to term. We've already had cases of boyfriends giving their girlfriends this drug without them knowing. This shouldn't be possible. This drug should be in-person doctor prescribed and in person doctor supervised.

It is a baseline, but shouldn't be considered some kind of standard. The free market should set the rate standard.

I want to eliminate line items that are non labor. In other words, I want to challenge all our State departments to reduce spending by 1% for one year, without eliminating any jobs. I think this exercise will allow individual departments to examine what is wasteful within their own space of the government. This is far more effective than dictating the kinds of cuts. This exercise will help everyone ask themselves, where can we do a little bit better?
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The separation of church and state has become a convoluted topic since our original meaning when we founded the country. What it meant then, and what it SHOULD mean now, is: our religion and our government are completely separate. We came from a Monarch who was both religious leader and government leader. We Americans wanted to separate our religious life from our civic life so that we could be more flexible and inclusive in building our ideal lives.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Anything with a public business license has to accommodate the Public, without exception. Individuals- I assume to be individual citizens- should not be compelled to do anything that violates their personal religious beliefs.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
My answer is C. Medicare and Medicaid have demonstrated themselves to work and meet the needs of Americans who qualify for it. Private healthcare options markets have been messed up by the Affordable Care Act and needs to be revised, replaced or repealed. Healthcare costs have doubled since the ACA was implemented- the exact opposite of the legislation's intention.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

This sort of database should be assembled and studied by Non Governmental Organization(s). This allows competitors to develop their own analysis, and this allows us to compare and contrast multiple data sets in order to get a clearer overall picture. Government assembly and analysis of this data would likely be politically biased, and the lack of competitive analysis would likely paint a distorted picture of the issue. Which is dangerous for creating policy based on the information.

Israel is the only partner in the world right now who is firmly aligned with our fight to stay globally dominant. Europe isn't against us, but they do NOT support us. The same can be said of every country on earth, except Israel. So is our partnership important? I say it couldn't be more important.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

The USDOE is useless. Our kids education performance had been dropping for decades, but the USDOE especially lost me with their response to COVID. Why were kids pulled out of school for two years? This did irreversible damage to a generation of children. I believe the USDOE be dangerous to our kids and it should be reduced to a tiny, limited department. Let the states handle this.

This is a global community issue. Our actions to address climate change shouldn't outpace any one else's. Biden took drastic actions that cause the cost of food and energy to go up. This was done in the name of reversing climate change. At the same time that Americans were paying more to support climate change efforts, China was building a new coal plant every few days. Our climate change efforts hurt us economically and helped the Chinese economically, but did nothing to change the climate.
