QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
I believe abortion should be limited except in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is at risk, while also strengthening support for women, children, and families.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Agree
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
I believe people deserve to make a living wage, but I also understand small businesses are struggling too. We have to find a balance that supports workers without hurting the businesses that keep our communities running.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Increase transparency and accountability in government spending so taxpayers know where their money is going. Create pathways out of generational poverty by focusing on workforce development, small business growth, and long-term economic opportunity instead of permanent dependency on government programs. Rebuild the middle class through job creation, reduced government overreach, and stronger support for working families and local businesses.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
To me, separation of church and state means the government should not establish or control religion, but it should never mean people of faith have to stay silent or leave their values behind in public life. We should be able to openly be comfortable in our Faith. Faith, family, and personal responsibility remain important parts of our communities and our country
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded. We need to phase out supplemental programs and put money back into tax payers pocket.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Disagree
I believe healthcare information is personal, and government should be careful not to overstep when it comes to tracking people’s medical conditions. There has to be a balance between public health and protecting individual privacy.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
We are living in a time of growing instability across the world, and decisions involving the Middle East require strong leadership, careful diplomacy, and a focus on long-term security and peace. We must unite with our strongest ally in order to prevail the triumph we see today.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Each state has its own priorities and the federal government is not able to determine those factors without a relationship with those states amd communities.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Agree
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Absolutely.
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Disagree
I believe we should limit government intrusion into families, but I also believe children should be protected from making permanent life-altering decisions at a young age. These situations should be handled with care, parental involvement, and mental health support.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Agree
I believe marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman rooted in faith, family, and traditional values.
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Disagree
I believe the expansion of gambling, including VLTs, should be approached cautiously because it can become a detriment to families and communities if it is not properly regulated.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am Lutheran, and my faith has been shaped through both loss and purpose. I lost my parents at a young age after witnessing a homicide-suicide. While bullets were flying around my family, our lives were spared, and for a long time I questioned whether God cared at all. Through mission trips across the United States and serving others, I realized pain exists everywhere and that faith is not about perfection. I believe we are called to spread God’s love through our daily actions despite our flaws. Throughout scripture, God used broken people, those in despair, and those who felt unworthy, to accomplish extraordinary things. That belief continues to guide my life and service to others.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Disagree
As an African American Republican, I believe the focus should be on creating real opportunity, stronger education, economic growth, safe communities, and government transparency rather than dividing people by race. We should encourage voters to study candidates and policies based on results and accountability, not simply continue cycles of party loyalty without meaningful change.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Disagree
I believe we should protect and care for our environment, but I do not support extreme government mandates that hurt working families, farmers, small businesses, or American energy independence
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
I believe America should continue investing in reliable and affordable energy sources such as natural gas, nuclear energy, and clean coal while also encouraging innovation and energy independence.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
NO
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
NO
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The goal of the criminal justice system should be to protect public safety while also addressing the mental health crises, trauma, addiction, and lack of support services that often contribute to crime. Accountability matters, but so does rehabilitation and helping people successfully return to society.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Agree
I believe the United States should be governed by the Constitution and American law alone, and no religious legal system should override those constitutional protections and freedoms.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I strongly support the Second Amendment and believe law-abiding citizens have the right to protect themselves and their families. The focus should be on enforcing existing laws, addressing violent crime and mental health, and keeping firearms out of the hands of dangerous criminals rather than creating additional burdens on responsible gun owners.
