QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

No government funds should ever be used to subsidize abortion providers or organizations that promote or refer for abortions. Resources should instead be directed toward programs and providers that offer comprehensive health care and support services for women, mothers, and families.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Never.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am firmly committed to defending the dignity and value of every human life, from conception to natural death. If elected I will work diligently to support legislation that protects the preborn, and safeguards vulnerable patients and promote a culture of life in Missouri.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

I believe all human life, including human embryos created through artificial methods, has inherent value and should be protected from purposeful destruction. Medical research should advance in ethical ways that respect human dignity.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I believe wages are best driven by the free market and local economies, not broad government mandates. Economic growth, skilled trades, and strong businesses create sustainable wage increases and greater long-term opportunity for workers.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

I strongly support free enterprise, private property rights, and a limited government economic system that rewards hard work, innovation, and personal responsibility. Small businesses, entrepreneurs, farmers, and workers—not government bureaucrats—are the driving force behind economic growth and job creation. Protecting private property and reducing burdensome regulations allows families and businesses to invest, grow, and build stronger communities and a stronger Missouri economy.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

My top priorities to eliminate government waste are increasing transparency and accountability in state agencies, auditing departments to identify fraud and inefficiency, reducing unnecessary regulations and bureaucratic overhead, eliminating duplicate or outdated government programs, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly. I also support performance-based budgeting and greater public oversight so government works more efficiently and remains accountable to the people it serves.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state means government cannot establish a national religion or interfere with the free exercise of faith. It was intended to keep the state out of the church, not faith out of public life. America’s founding principles were influenced by Judeo-Christian values. I support religious liberty, but oppose any ideology or legal system, including Sharia law, that conflicts with the Constitution, individual freedoms, or American sovereignty.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

No. Individuals and businesses should not be forced by government to violate their sincerely held moral or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. I believe healthcare works best when driven by competition, innovation, transparency, and patient choice rather than government control. We should focus on lowering healthcare costs, expanding access to affordable private insurance, supporting rural healthcare providers, and protecting programs for seniors and vulnerable citizens without creating costly government-run systems.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

No. Americans’ private medical information should be protected, and government should not maintain intrusive databases that threaten privacy and personal liberty.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and economic threats to the United States. China has engaged in espionage, unfair trade practices, cyberattacks, and efforts to expand its global influence at America’s expense. We must strengthen national security, protect critical infrastructure and intellectual property, reduce dependence on China, and ensure America remains economically and militarily strong.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

America’s relationship with Israel is extremely important because Israel is one of our strongest democratic allies in the Middle East and a key partner in regional stability, intelligence, and national security. Israel and the United States share common values including democracy, religious liberty, and the rule of law. Supporting Israel strengthens America’s security interests and helps deter terrorism and hostile regimes in the region.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

Sanctuary cities undermine the rule of law and create unnecessary barriers between local, state, and federal law enforcement. Immigration laws should be enforced consistently and fairly while maintaining compassion and due process. Public safety must come first, and local governments should cooperate with federal authorities to address criminal activity, secure the border, and protect American citizens and legal immigrants alike.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

I support returning education decisions to states, local communities, school boards, and parents rather than unelected federal bureaucrats in Washington. Local control allows communities to better meet the needs of students and families. Education funding should prioritize classrooms, teachers, and student achievement instead of growing federal bureaucracy. Parents deserve a stronger voice in their children’s education and curriculum.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

Yes. Foreign governments, especially adversarial nations such as China, should not influence or fund American educational institutions. Foreign funding can create conflicts of interest, political influence, and national security concerns. American schools and universities should remain focused on educating students based on American values, constitutional principles, academic integrity, and transparency without foreign interference.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Yes. Parents have the fundamental right and responsibility to direct their children’s upbringing, education, healthcare, and moral development. Government should support families, not replace them. Parents know their children best and deserve transparency, involvement, and authority in decisions affecting their child’s well-being. Strong families and parental involvement are essential to raising healthy, educated, and responsible citizens.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Children should be protected from irreversible medical procedures and life-altering decisions before they are mature enough to fully understand the long-term consequences. I support protecting children’s physical and mental health while ensuring families receive compassionate care and counseling. Parents, doctors, and communities should focus on supporting children without pushing permanent medical interventions that can have lifelong consequences.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I believe marriage is a sacred institution historically rooted in the union of one man and one woman and that strong families are foundational to a healthy society. I also believe religious liberty must be protected so individuals, churches, and faith-based organizations are never forced by government to violate their sincerely held beliefs regarding marriage and family.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

No. I do not support expanding gambling because of the negative impacts it can have on families, addiction, personal finances, and local communities. Government should not rely on gambling revenue as a long-term economic strategy. I believe economic growth should come from job creation, workforce development, small businesses, agriculture, manufacturing, and investment in productive industries that strengthen communities rather than exploit financial hardship.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My faith is central to my life and guides my commitment to integrity, service, personal responsibility, and compassion for others. I believe in protecting life, strengthening families, defending religious liberty, and treating every person with dignity and respect. I strive to lead with honesty, humility, accountability, and a servant’s heart while upholding the values and principles that have helped make America strong. I believe in my savior Jesus Christ and how he conquered sin and death with his resurrection. I am not ashamed of the gospel, and I believe our country should not be either.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

No. Requiring photo identification to vote is a commonsense measure that helps protect election integrity and strengthen public confidence in our elections. Secure elections are essential to preserving trust in our democratic process. Photo ID requirements are reasonable, widely supported, and help prevent fraud while still ensuring eligible citizens have the opportunity to participate in free and fair elections.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

No. Americans should be treated equally under the law regardless of race. Policies should focus on equal opportunity, strong education, economic growth, and empowering individuals to succeed through hard work and personal responsibility. Dividing people by race through government programs or reparations is not the best path forward. We should unite Americans around shared values, fairness, and equal treatment for all citizens.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Yes. Women and girls deserve fairness, safety, privacy, and equal opportunities in sports and private spaces. Biological differences matter in athletics and certain protected environments such as locker rooms, shelters, prisons, and bathrooms. Policies should protect women’s rights while treating every individual with dignity and respect. Preserving fair competition and safety is essential.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

I believe we should be good stewards of the environment while balancing economic growth, energy independence, and practical solutions rather than burdensome government mandates.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

A balanced approach led by reliable base-load energy sources such as natural gas, nuclear, and clean coal is necessary to meet growing energy demands affordably and dependably.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Conservative Republican focused on constitutional government, individual liberty, free enterprise, strong families, public safety, and religious freedom.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal of the criminal justice system should be to protect innocent citizens, uphold the rule of law, hold offenders accountable, and promote rehabilitation where appropriate.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Yes. Government has a responsibility to protect children from online predators, exploitation, trafficking, and harmful explicit content.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

Yes. American laws and constitutional principles should remain the sole foundation of our legal system. We can not allow anti-American ideologies infiltrate our government on any level.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The 2nd Amendment is one of our foundational principles and freedoms that must be protected at all costs. Law-abiding citizens have a constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Efforts should focus on enforcing existing laws, prosecuting violent criminals, and improving mental health interventions rather than restricting responsible gun owners.
