Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
First of all, a circumstance is never the baby's fault, so why should he/she have to pay the ultimate price for it? With that said, in the most extreme cases - for example, when a young girl (say, under 15) becomes pregnant, or when the mother's life is truly in danger - I struggle.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

What is your position on the minimum wage?
While the desired outcome of a minimum wage is admirable, it causes inflation and unemployment, both of which hurt poor people. As Christian employers, we are to act righteously and treat our staff/employees fairly.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

In Missouri: 1) stop public safety grants for Flock cameras, 2) tighten economic-development incentives, 3) control Medicaid growth and root out fraud.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The Pilgrims and, subsequently, our Founding Fathers were, at a minimum, deists, with many of them being Christians. They also knew that having only one church run by a king was neither right nor good. It's clear that their intent was to keep the government out of religious beliefs and affairs, but not to keep faith and its values out of government. "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other," John Adams.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

But I don't want us going back to the days of separate bathrooms, dining areas, or bus seats based on race, color, or religion.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Yes, 1. The Jewish people have been persecuted for far too long, and they are God's chosen covenant people. 2. Iran believes the people and the country of Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth. 3. It's the primary ally of the USA and the only democracy in the Middle East.

Nuclear is the most reliable source, but it is not without its own problems.

But being very conservative also means obeying scripture that says we (as individuals) are to be generous with what the Lord provides and always willing to help those in need, as illustrated by the "Good Samaritan."

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
Punishment for what they did to get there should be the main goal, but it would be nice if we could rehabilitate them so that they could become productive members of society.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Just as I believe parents are responsible for their child's health and educational well-being, so too are they responsible for protecting the child from sexual exploitation. Since neither has proven to be 100% effective, the government has become involved. Certainly, anyone engaged in sexual exploitation, whether online or otherwise, should be harshly dealt with.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Violent felons should have to prove they are no longer a threat to society before regaining their right to possess a gun. Minors (under 18) should not be able to purchase a gun without a parent's or guardian's consent and signature.
