QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I whole heartedly believe in creationism under God. What He has created in the womb should be protected as an independent being from the moment of conception.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Neutral

Currently these synthetic embryos can never mature in a viable fetus. We are not the Creator. These embryos are created from stem cells and are used for research, they are not viable and cannot create life so this is moot.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

My daughter suffered from multiple ectopic pregnancies. The fetus could never develop so that it could live. They endangered her life and the procedure was done to save her life where eventually she was able to give birth through IVF. She was so devastated, we all were, but we know God has a plan. Of course, the actual life of the mother is important and things like this do happen and when the mother's life is in actual danger, not a made-up condition by a pro-abortion doctor, I support that.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

I will never support tax payor funded elective abortion.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

We have an issue of state sovereingty here. One state enacts abortion laws and another state allows abortion to full term if certain people have their way. It should be illegal to transport these drugs into states that prohibit abortions after certain time periods or drugs.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

I believe every person, and every business should have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason they see fit. This is a free country with many others willing to do business with each other. Involuntary servitude is slavery and that was ended with Lincoln.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

When the founders framed the Constitution, they were concerned about not establishing a national church like England had which many escaped the persecution from. They believed that we are given our rights by our Creator in the Declaration of Independence but in the Treaty of Tripoli the government stated we were not founded on any certain religion. I may be Christian and encourage you to find Salvation through Christ but we as a nation are made up with many religions and different beliefs.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

I feel for the people of Iran right now in their struggle to end the tyrannical rule of the Islamic jihadist. We really cannot afford to pay for any new conflicts as our debt is a national security issue in itself. I don't think there is a one size fits all answer to this issue and should be dealt with on a case-by-case issue.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, in my belief is rooted from Genisis 12:3, those who bless Isreal will be blessed and those who curse Isreal will be cursed. We know how the Third Reich tried to exterminate the Jewish people and how horrible and inhumane it was. We have factions who still want to exterminate the Jewish people simply for being born. It's wrong and antisemitism must be eradicated. You may not believe in the Bible and that's fine but as human beings the Jewish people don't deserve to be eliminated.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Strongly Agree

I blame Obama for trying to change the makeup of this country with his radical agenda. He's the reason I became a Republican. Look at Dearborn Michigan, look at Texas where they are trying to enact Sharia Law in the United States, even banning dogs in certain areas. Right at this moment we are in a conflict with Iran, we've had an attack in Austin Texas. We've had other Islamic terrorist attacks in this country that have not been focused on by the media.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Healthcare and insurance are the biggest scams of our lifetime, and a huge driver of unaffordability. Insurance companies are charging more and more and covering less and less with their profits steadily increasing. I benefited from the ACA myself and think it was a good idea to start as I myself have pre-existing conditions. However, I think it is becoming less effective, and insurance companies need reigned in. I will go with option B.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Disagree

I do not agree with the government keeping a database on people's healthcare needs. It's a private matter between a provider and patient.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

I am a small business entrepreneur and homeowner, what more can be said, collectivism is a losing strategy.

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Strongly Agree

I support exempting up to $150k in federal tax liability to married couples, $75k for individuals, giving a real tax break to everyday Americans. I also support federal credits such as the eic for property taxes for owner occupied homes, especially for seniors.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

The national debt is the biggest national security issue we have. We are going to fall off a fiscal cliff. Our Senior's Social Security they paid into all their lives needs to be a priority in budgeting. It is their money and it should always be there.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1. End foreign aid, America first in this aspect. 2. Stop funding foreign wars 3. Rethink our current commitments in our alliances and possibly realign agreements to relieve our expenses 4. Accountability in government assistance: drug testing federal government assistance recipients and cutting people who use illegal drugs who cannot pass a standard employer drug screen. 5. Continue using Doge to root out fraud, waste and abuse, prosecute and recoup fraud monies lost

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Under lawful means laid out by current US code only. Laws should never be arbitrarily enforced because people have certain feelings otherwise. We live in a constitutional republic where we elect representatives to legislate and codify laws. These representatives are elected by the people and serve the will of the people, otherwise they are voted out. The laws enacted should be respected until such laws are changed and should never be circumvented for one party to maintain or gain power.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

I believe every elected official that violates the laws we have to protect illegal aliens should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I believe every person in this country illegally should be removed and come back the right way.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Less bureaucracy is often best. Who knows better than the states on what their educational needs are.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

That is a no brainer

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None, law abiding citizens will never be an issue and should not be hindered in exercising their 2A rights. I believe at the age of 18 you are old enough to serve in the military and die in combat and you should be old enough to buy whatever firearm you want. Criminals will always exist and will always find firearms to do their evil deeds.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

no

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

Yes, when I was 19, I made a very poor decision to take money that did not belong to me. No matter the circumstance that I was a very poor young married father living in a pay-by-the-week hotel and did my best to support my wife and child the best I could. I was pardoned by the state of Georgia in 2015.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Neutral

It is my religious belief as such; however, "no government" is a violation of sovereignty. It's kind of a baited question and is moot based on the Supreme Court ruling allowing gay marriage. Unless there is a Constitutional Amendment enacted, which will never happen based on the division in Congress.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to take my sins and the sins of the world away for everyone who believes, after His crucifixion He rose on the third day and ascended to Heaven and will return to take His people home.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I believe we need to pass the SAVE Act but it's being stalled in the Senate because the Democrats know they will not be able to cheat anymore.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Disagree

XY is male and those who possess those chromosomes should use the bathrooms assigned to that sex and not be allowed to ever participate in women's sports, be assigned to women's prisons or sorority houses and such.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear
