OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

When the life of the mother is endangered or in the case of a miscarriage or non-viable pregnancy.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

If we truly believe that all life has value from conception until natural death, then it is intellectually dishonest to think any differently.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Neutral

This one depends on your definition of “Destroyed.” For millions of families, IVR fertilization is their only option to start families. While I believe that life is a sacred right that needs to be protected, I would not favor any law that would stop families from having children if that was, indeed their only option.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Neutral

I am not sure how this would be enforceable without directly violating constitutional right to medical privacy or restricting travel which would also be unconstitutional. Rather, I believe they the efforts of the Pro-Life community should focus on healing our sick society and destroying the demand for abortion, completely.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

For starters, it isn’t a phrase that can be found anywhere in the Constituion. It’s a legal concept that means that the United States will not formally adopt any single religion as the official state religion if the country. It does not suggest, or even imply, that faith has no role in guiding the hand of the people or their elected representatives.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Neutral

It depends on the business or the nature of the transaction. For example - If a same-sex couple wants to eat at a restaurant, they should not be denied service based on the faith of the restaurant owner because they are not asking the restaurant to affirm their lifestyle, in violation of their beliefs. But if the same couple demanded that the restaurant cater their wedding, that would envoke the restaurant owner’s religious liberties to decline.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. Israel, beyond being an important regional strategic partner, has been a key partner in the development of high tech industries in the US and around the world.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Medicare should exist for Senior Citizens. Medicaid should exist for those who can prove a need. Beyond that, healthcare should be a market-driven system with open completion between health care providers that allows consumers to shop for better plans and drive down prices based on market factors with limited government involvement.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

The government should not keep a database of anyones medical treatments. That would be a direct violation of individual medical privacy.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

When government tries to put its finger on the scales of the free market in relation to wages or prices, it does far more harm than good. I favor eliminating the “minimum wage” standard, entirely.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1. Adopt a Zero-Based Budgeting system. 2. Require each department to submit 2 cost-saving measures each year to submit to the legislature for cost reductions. 3. Establish a balanced budget amendment to the state constitution.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

Reform. As a Christian, I fundamentally believe that redemption is possible. That should be our goal. However, until someone’s heart changes enough to make redemption possible, offenders need to be prevented from doing additional harm to others.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Parents share in this responsibility and need to take an active role in it.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. Historically, all efforts to restrict public ownership of firearms have been done in the name of “Public Safety.” It’s a false flag, a one that I cannot support.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Neutral

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that God created Heaven and Earth, that he sent his only son, Jesus Christ to atone for the sins of mankind; establishing a new covenant for eternal life, for those who put their faith in him.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Neutral

I believe that free market solutions, innovation and competition, not government interference is the most effective way to combat global environmental challenges.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

There isn’t a single answer to this question. We must adopt an “all Of the above” energy strategy to meet the energy needs of Americans both today and into the future.
