Until these systems exist, the embryo relies on the woman, making it a matter of individual choice, matching 8-12 week European standards. As a candidate who cares about families, I believe in absolute protections, if a mother’s life is at risk, or in cases of rape, medical science and basic compassion dictate prioritizing her first.

crisis pregnancy is a deeply personal and emotional situation for a student and their family, and the school's response must always be rooted in compassion and care. The school's role should be to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment, ensuring the student has the academic and emotional flexibility needed to stay on track to graduate. If a student or family reaches out for help, our campus counselors should serve as a supportive bridge guiding them toward qualified, professional external counseling resources so the family can navigate this difficult time together with the right care.

Higher education costs have skyrocketed compared to previous generations, placing an unprecedented financial burden on today’s families. While the current system clearly needs reform, simply shifting federal debt onto everyday taxpayers isn't a sustainable fix. As a candidate for a K-8 school district, my focus is localized, ensuring our elementary and middle schools manage taxpayer funds responsibly and provide the strong academic foundation our children need to succeed later in life.

I strongly support robust government funding for early public education, particularly Pre-K through 8th grade. Investing heavily in our children during their foundational years ensures they develop the critical literacy and social skills needed for lifelong success. While higher education funding is a broader state and federal issue, my immediate priority as a candidate is ensuring Cajon Valley utilizes every dollar responsibly to maximize resources directly in our classrooms.

Separation of church and state means public schools must serve all students equally, keeping personal religious doctrines out of both board policies and the classrooms. Our current board has crossed this line, using private beliefs to target and attack LGBTQ students instead of focusing on education. School policies and lessons must be driven strictly by student safety, factual academics, and ensuring every single child feels valued, safe, and respected

I respect ICE and support strong borders to keep our nation secure. However, as an elementary school candidate, my top priority is protecting children. Schools and hospitals must remain safe zones where children can learn without fear or trauma. ICE should focus its enforcement operations elsewhere. Keeping federal enforcement away from our campuses ensures our local K-8 schools remain safe, secure environments focused entirely on education.

However, we must ensure families who cannot afford healthcare are supported. If a student or parent reaches out, our certified campus counselors should act as a bridge, privately guiding the family toward affordable, low cost external clinics and resources so they can access the care they need together

However, discipline cannot be one-size-fits-all for example we must protect and utilize specialized approaches for students with behavioral disabilities like autism. If students do not know our history or the Constitution, they cannot defend their freedoms or understand how our society functions. The benefit of eliminating the federal department is that it cuts bureaucratic red tape, allowing local parents and school boards to make decisions tailored to our specific community. However, the downside is the potential loss of uniform federal funding and oversight for critical special education programs. No matter what, my priority as a trustee will always be to fiercely protect local control and put our families first

I support all topics, scaffolded by grade level. 7th and 8th grade should cover non-explicit biology like anatomy and fetal development, holding mature topics until high school. To support families, we must maintain strict transparency. Schools must provide parents the upcoming curriculum timeline and lesson details well in advance, ensuring parents can review materials and exercise their lawful right to opt their child out of any or all portions of sex education.

Instead, we should provide a few centrally located, multi-stall inclusive bathrooms. These larger, accessible spaces shouldn't target one group, they should serve anyone needing privacy, including pregnant students and individuals with disabilities, keeping traditional multi-stall restrooms safe and normal.

While I believe in a higher power and spiritual guidance, I view my personal relationship with the universe as a deeply private journey. Severe health crises like anorexia are life threatening emergencies that demand immediate parental notification and professional medical care. For identity struggles, we must provide a safe space with school psychologists and avoid prematurely outing students. But while private talks remain confidential, official school changes to student records or health plans can never happen behind a parent's back.

If a book has recognized literary value but contains mature content, the solution isn't a total ban, it is a restricted access system. Books with explicit themes should require parental consent to be checked out. For instance, I firmly support a strong border and strict rule of law to keep our country secure, but I also value equal rights, individual liberties, and mutual respect for everyone. I bring this same balanced, common sense approach to our TK-8 schools, ensuring our classrooms stay focused strictly on student academic achievement and safety rather than political agendas.

While I support trained defense, having firearms loose in TK-8 classrooms is a major safety risk, any weapon would have to be strictly locked away. Regardless, California law completely prohibits arming teachers. Because a local board cannot change state mandates, my priority is maximizing security measures we control by funding certified, armed SRO officers, mandating single points of entry with Raptor ID screening, stopping bullying, and getting help for at-risk kids before a tragedy strikes.
