RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Disagree
I believe every person deserves dignity, safety, and access to care throughout their life. That includes protecting people’s ability to make their own healthcare decisions, including reproductive care, in consultation with their doctors and families. I do not support policies that impose a single definition of when life begins through the law. Instead, I support protecting reproductive freedom, expanding access to healthcare, and ensuring that individuals and families have the resources they ne
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Disagree
Medical decisions involving embryos, including fertility treatments and research, should be guided by patients, families, and medical professionals, not restricted by broad legal mandates. I support access to IVF and other reproductive technologies that help people build families, as well as scientific research that advances healthcare.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Abortion should be legal and accessible, with decisions made by the patient in consultation with their healthcare provider, without government interference. I support protecting reproductive freedom and ensuring access to safe, affordable care at all stages of pregnancy.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare, including services provided by Planned Parenthood and other clinics, is essential. Public funding helps ensure that people, especially those with low incomes, can access cancer screenings, contraception, STI testing, and abortion care. Healthcare should be accessible and affordable, not dependent on income or geography.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Disagree
The Comstock Act restricts access to safe and legal reproductive healthcare, including abortion and medication abortion. I support protecting people’s ability to access care across state lines and ensuring that medical decisions are made by patients and healthcare providers, not restricted by outdated federal laws.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Free enterprise and private property are important components of the economy. At the same time, I support regulations and policies that protect workers, consumers, and the environment, ensure fair wages, and reduce economic inequality so that the benefits of our economy are shared broadly.
People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.
Strongly Agree
Those with greater financial resources should contribute more to support working families. Progressive taxation helps fund essential services like healthcare, education, housing, and childcare, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive and that no one is left behind.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Disagree
Cutting essential investments in healthcare, education, infrastructure, and social programs to reduce the national debt would hurt working families and limit economic opportunity. I support policies that maintain and expand critical public services while ensuring that the wealthy and corporations contribute their fair share.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
1) End corporate subsidies and tax breaks that spend taxpayer money without benefiting communities. 2) Stop funding harmful projects, including data centers and battery production, which waste taxpayer money and damage the environment. 3) Require full transparency for all government spending and contracts to prevent waste, fraud, and misuse. 4) Redirect funds from wasteful or harmful programs to essential services like healthcare, education, housing, and support for working families.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
No one should be forced by the government to act against their religious or moral beliefs. Personal beliefs cannot be used to deny essential services or discriminate against any individual or group. Everyone must have equal access to healthcare, reproductive care, and other critical services.
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Separation of church and state means that government cannot impose religious beliefs on anyone. It also means that government decisions and policies should be based on law, evidence, and the public good, not religious doctrine. Everyone should have the freedom to practice their faith or no faith at all, while public services and rights remain accessible to all.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
I support Medicare for All. This is a government funded system that guarantees healthcare for every person. No one should have to choose between medical care and basic necessities. Coverage must include hospital care, prescriptions, mental health, dental, and vision. There should be no premiums, deductibles, or copays. Healthcare should be guaranteed and fully funded by the government with no private healthcare option.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Agree
While understanding healthcare costs is important, the government should not maintain databases that track individuals’ medical conditions without consent. Personal health information must remain private and protected. Any data collected for research must comply with HIPAA and only be used with the individual’s consent.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
I believe the United States should prioritize diplomacy, international cooperation, and human rights. We should focus on protecting our own communities and resources. Military action should only be used in cases of imminent threat. The United States must end support for policies that contribute to ongoing genocides, such as in Palestine. Foreign policy should emphasize non-military solutions and ensure human rights are protected worldwide.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
I agree that the Chinese Communist Party poses challenges in areas like cybersecurity, intellectual property, and global economics. The United States should address these issues through diplomacy, multilateral cooperation, and fair trade practices. Military escalation should be avoided. Engagement must prioritize human rights, environmental protections, and global stability.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
The United States must immediately end all military and financial support for Israel. U.S. aid currently enables the occupation of Palestinian land, violence against civilians, and military strikes against Iran. Our foreign policy must prioritize justice, accountability, and human rights, not support for Israeli aggression.
Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.
Strongly Agree
Terrorism is a threat to national security. Muslims and other communities must never be targeted or stigmatized because of their faith or ethnicity. U.S. policy should focus on specific extremist actors and networks. We must also address the root causes of violence, including unjust foreign policies and global inequality, while protecting civil rights at home.
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Everyone seeking safety, work, or family reunification must be able to come to the United States without fear. ICE must be abolished to protect human rights and due process. The United States must provide clear and just pathways to citizenship. Policies should allow people to regularize their status safely, protect human dignity, and prioritize families and communities. Solutions must be rooted in compassion and fairness.
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Agree
Sanctuary cities are essential to protect people from deportation and harassment. They ensure that local law enforcement focuses on community safety rather than enforcing federal immigration enforcement. These policies uphold human rights, dignity, and fairness for all residents.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Disagree
Education is a fundamental right and must be supported at the federal level to ensure equity, access, and quality for all students. Eliminating the Department of Education would worsen disparities and weaken protections for marginalized communities.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
Foreign governments should not influence U.S. education or curricula. Funding should come from public resources and be transparent, accountable, and focused on serving the needs of American students and communities.
VALUES
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Disagree
The wellbeing of children is our priority as their brains and decision making abilities are still developing. Children should not undergo physical or social transition during these formative years. Parents provide vital support through therapy and guidance to help children understand themselves. Full transition should occur in adulthood to ensure mature choices. This approach protects mental health and reduces harm while respecting human dignity and the separation of church and state.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Neutral
The government must stay out of the definition of marriage. Keeping church and state completely separate ensures that the law does not interfere with personal or sacred traditions. By maintaining this strict wall, we prevent the state from overstepping its bounds into matters of conscience. This approach protects the autonomy of both spheres and is a core part of our democracy. It ensures that the state and the sacred remain entirely independent of each other.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My spiritual beliefs are rooted in my personal relationship with God as a non denominational Christian. My faith is a source of strength and motivates my commitment to public service. I am guided by the values of loving my neighbor and seeking justice for everyone. These beliefs shape my character. I believe in a strict separation of church and state. I will not use my private faith to dictate policy for others. My role is to serve all people while keeping government and faith entirely independent.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Agree
Voting is a fundamental right that must be accessible to every eligible person. Requiring photo identification can create unnecessary barriers for many people who lack easy access to these documents. Our focus should be on expanding access and ensuring every voice is heard without modern day poll taxes. We must protect the integrity of our elections through secure methods that do not disenfranchise vulnerable communities. Upholding democracy means making it easier to vote and not harder.
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Neutral
Protecting the safety and privacy of all individuals in sensitive spaces is a top priority. Maintaining sex segregated environments in sports, shelters, and locker rooms is a common sense approach to ensure security and dignity. While this concern specifically addresses biological men, my stance is rooted in a universal commitment to the safety of everyone. We must uphold the integrity of these protected spaces to ensure fairness and peace of mind for every member of our community.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
The most reliable energy is a publicly owned and democratically controlled grid. We must transition to renewable sources and large scale public storage. Treating power as a human right instead of a corporate profit ensures a secure future for all.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
I have never been penalized for sexual misconduct in any civil or criminal court. My record contains no such offenses, and I have always maintained the highest standards of conduct in this regard. I believe in full accountability and transparency for anyone seeking public office. My commitment to my community is built on a foundation of respect and the protection of all individuals.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
I was wrongfully convicted of a felony as a victim of domestic violence. My personal experience with the legal system has given me a deep understanding of its flaws and injustices. This struggle propelled me into a life of service as a civil rights leader. I am committed to fighting for a system that treats every person with dignity and true fairness. My record reflects the challenges many survivors face and drives my passion for systemic reform and justice for all.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Liberal
My views are best described as a progressive Democrat focused on social and economic justice. I believe government must prioritize human rights and public ownership over corporate profit. My platform is rooted in the belief that affordability, safety, healthcare, and sustainability are fundamental necessities for everyone. I advocate for a clear separation of church and state to protect both religious liberty and secular governance. This approach ensures a fair and equitable future for all.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
The government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation in online activities. Protecting minors is a fundamental duty that requires strong oversight and clear safety measures. My approach focuses on creating secure environments while maintaining a strict separation of church and state. We can implement common sense protections that uphold human dignity and safety for all children. Ensuring the wellbeing of the next generation is essential to a just society.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
To protect public safety, I support universal background checks and closing gaps in our current laws. My platform includes ending the sale of assault weapons and high capacity magazines to reduce the scale of violence in our communities. These measures prioritize human life and the security of our neighborhoods. By focusing on evidence based solutions, we can ensure that schools and public spaces are safe for everyone. This approach respects human dignity and the safety of all people.
