QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Under what circumstances should murder be allowed?
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The State shall not designate a particular religion as a State religion.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
While I recognize our military is over-funded and waste is easy to identify (and difficult to track), I appreciate that our military conflicts are not domestic and we are free of military conflict on our homeland. Despite my grievances with the US, there is no other place or time I would prefer to than in the USA in the present and I respect those who serve. (Though my time in 80's and 90's were epic!)
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Healthcare coverage should not be restricted by state borders, giving consumers more options and allowing competition to draw down high costs. Billing and gouging should be transparent, public and shamed ($50 for a box of tissues). Employees should have options to shop for coverage that suits them best and join collectives for bargaining rates. Essentially, break up the established monopolies that drive up costs for consumers by legislating competition.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Let's bring capitalism to government. What if we incentivized governmental management to exercise fiscal constraint and offered cash incentives for budget reductions? Let's require those who draw unemployment to do community work (road trash pickup).
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
Michael Savage was de-platformed for his unapologetic mantra "Borders, Language, Culture." These three attributes define community based on shared location and values. As we lock our houses and vet guests entering our home, we rely on the federal government to provide the same protections at our international borders.
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anyone should be allowed to immigrate if they satisfy immigration requirements and share a patriotism.
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
Qualification requirements should be established, but I firmly believe most school shootings would not occur if schools were not gun-free zones.
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I would prefer to discuss reducing restrictions on gun owners.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
I'm not a politician. I recognize a freshman Senator often arrives with creative solutions, but their legislative proposals end up with the Rules Committee - where they die. It seems that many freshmen who pass legislation are often carrying bills provided to them my senior leaders. I don't have political affiliations in Indy to discuss what the leadership would like to see advanced, but I recognize there will be pressure to jump on board and fall in line with party agendas. My present voter base is asking for moratoriums on projects like data center developments, carbon capture & carbon sequestration, industrial solar farms and wind turbines. My base tends to be "common sense" Hoosiers that are exceptionally apprehensive of foreign developments on farmland and big-tech takeovers. If I had a magic wand, I would (1) eliminate the attrition of home rule, (2) ban foreign projects that monopolize natural resources, and (3) rescind Holcolmb's ag overlay for solar and wind on farmland.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
Hard no.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
From a political standpoint, I'm exceptionally unqualified for this position. I have not been on the front lines of politics or worked my way up through the ranks to be "next in line" for a position. I'm just a guy. I'm a self-employed Realtor of 2 decades and opened a small business in the heart of my community, providing connections and employment. I would certainly question what criteria is considered "qualifying" for office when we live in a world where respected scientists and politicians are unable to answer the question "What is a woman?" I'm a common sense guy and like most, I would rather make my money during the day and spend the evenings/weekends with my family. I've waited for the "right person" and a "good person" to stand up to get in the way of these progressive/woke ideologies from advancing from social acceptance into legislation. If this race was about Republicans and Democrats squabbling on which account they should borrow money from to fix the roads, I would not be running. Our communities are having some drastic developments imposed on us - developments that Republicans and Democrats can agree are more about right and wrong, verses right and left. I've made quick friends with my logical, common sense approach to these issues.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
Married in 1999, I've had one wife who gave me three children. She's been a rockstar, supporting all of my endeavors!
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I support the Apostles Creed as a baseline for Christian faiths and the Church should pursue unity in this.Scripture is my basis for loving and serving others, recognizing my words and actions can help or hinder my advocacy for my Christian faith.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Neutral
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Social media and traditional media are effective tools to perpetuate division based on perception. Racism has always existed amongst individuals, but widespread social racism seems to be predominantly perpetuated by the media to elicit strategic cultural responses for political advantage. What was a legitimate issue has been weaponized to spur domestic instability.
