What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
That is between the student and their parents or the parties involved. If the school can provide some direction to keep everyone safe and out of harms way, then I am O.K. with that. Not everyone can talk to their parents openly so support from inside the school could be beneficial within certain guidelines.

With regard to public schools, what does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
That is a personal /family issue. I had prayer when I went to school and it was just fine. I don't care if people believe in their tennis shoes as their higher power, but something has got to change and if school prayer is the answer, then so be it.
ECONOMY
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I worked 2 jobs to put myself through college. I believe the prices of tuition should certainly be looked at as well as repayment. School teachers from West Virginia are graduating with $800 payment plans for a profession that is one of the least paid in the country.

Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.

Consequences for bad behavior create a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.

Sex Ed should include what and how "babies are made." Teachers should not be responsible for abortion issues, sex acts, orientation or gender identity. Provide them with the basics and let them know of the outcomes. Raising a child at any age is hard, so reinforce that at a younger age their future just changed.

There is no separation. Every discipline is taught for a reason and has its purpose, all are important and plays a role in their development. Some graduates may be just as happy going to a tech school, working in a factory or starting their own landscaping/mowing business. This is what school should be teaching, all the other issues are for home discussion. That being said, Personal Finance should be a mandatory class for all high school students.
Public schools should prioritize academic achievement and building character necessary to preserve American traditions and self-government.

Teachers are there to teach and help students develop. It is the parents/guardians role to teach them about character and preservation, outside of what is taught in the classroom.
School choice creates competition, and that competition will push public schools to improve their educational systems.

Faculty who are licensed to carry and have had ongoing training should be allowed to carry guns at school in order to respond to an active shooter situation.
