QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am pro life from conception to natural death. We need to protect and defend our next generations. I will always advocate for the value of life and push for them to have the resources they need.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I believe Indiana taxpayers should never be burdened with the funding of abortions.

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

All babies deserve to live. If a baby survives an abortion then a medical professional should honor their oath and provide that baby with life saving treatment immediately.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The current law we have in Indiana allows for exceptions for lethal fetal anomaly, life of the mother, and rape or incest. I would support a full abortion ban. I also would support stricter bans on abortion pills.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Absolutely not. I believe our economy works best when individuals are working hard and contributing to our communities. I am for limiting Government to make it easier for individuals and small businesses.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

That is why the United States is such a prosperous and sought after country. Those from outside our country realize this and that is why they fight to get heir piece of the, "American Dream." We need to continue to rely on free markets, and the ability for an individual to not be limited to creating their own wealth.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

College is a choice and its not right for everyone. We have many options for individuals to attend college currently. We need to realize that some might be well suited for college, others for skilled trades, and others might enter the workforce directly out of school. College should never be on the taxpayers dime.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would first take a dive into fraud and waste. I would look at non-essential foreign aid to prioritize an American first agenda.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Marriage by definition is between one man and one woman.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

We were founded to be able to exercise our faith and I believe we should protect those rights. All individuals should have the ability to worship and follow their beliefs without government infringements.

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

The Christian values is why I believe the Western World Flourished. Christians and Christian values must be protected.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Our Founders set it up where we would not be governed by a one national religion. They also did not prohibit the influence of an elected officials influence of their faith. We need to ensure that we remember this moving forward. We are a nation of many religions and for many years we have been able to for the most part work together harmoniously. The Christian religion is not a religion of force but there are other religions that would require a government to conform to only their beliefs.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

Government healthcare rarely works efficiently or effectively.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I believe healthcare needs to be overhauled and simplified. Too many people have no idea how it works, how things are billed, or feel like they have any ability to understand their rights prior to service. Our costs are way too high and we need to increase transparency and affordability.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

We must keep a strong military, advance our ability to protect and defend, and remain at the top of cutting edge advancements.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

We need to have strong borders. A wall and strong security at the borders is common sense. We are a nation of immigrants but legal ones.

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

If a university or community will not comply with immigration laws then they should be faced with the reality that they could see funding cuts.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I am in full support of legal immigration. To me that means anyone wanting to come here through legal channels, will follow our rules, be productive members to our society, and embrace the American values that have caused them to want to come here in the first place.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

Our founders wrote our constitution with Judeo-Christian values in mind. The Western society has flourished because of this and we need to teach this as part of our history.

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I believe in Male and Female gender orientation.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born again believer that realizes humans have fallen short and needed the blood of Jesus.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Indiana needs to maintain high election standards and continue to be the example.

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College was designed to bring equal and fair representation. We must protect it.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No, I believe if you turn off the TV and get out and talk with your neighbors and people in your community you will learn we all for the most part want the same thing. We want to live in safe communities, have the ability to receive help when we need it, and for the most part be able to live our lives in peace. Our country is not perfect because humans aren't perfect. I want our country and our positions to be filled with the people that are the best for that individual position.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I am a full believer in limited government. I believe society works best when the government is in the back seat and not involved in every single detail of our personal life and business. I am a big believer in our Constitution.

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Did not answer

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I will bring an aspect of small government to the Senate. I believe the state should help the small rural communities, individuals, and businesses. Being on City Council I see just how much impact the state level has on us. I think its time to have someone representing us down in Indianapolis and not the other way around.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Did not answer

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

Sharia Law will never work compatibly with our U.S. Constitution and Western Values.

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

With proper training and especially safe storage. I believe this could be the quickest, most efficient response to a school attack. Many schools do not have the resources for full time resource officers on each campus so this would serve most school corporations well.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Disagree

We are seeing it in our communities already. I don't want to see an expansion of recreational marijuana.

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. Protecting Life and Family. I would be in full support of bills that would defend the pro life movement, support pregnancy and family centered centers, and also provide support to all families. We must support our next generations and embrace new life! 2. Property Tax Reform & Reduced Government. I would fight to provide tax relief to working families, young families, and the retired class. I would like to see property tax reform as well. Rising property taxes are a concern for young families trying to start out all the way up to retired couples finding themself living on a fixed income. 3. Promoting Small Rural Communities. I would always stand for the small rural communities that not only make up my district but the entire state of Indiana. Indiana is strong because of these communities, the individuals in them, and the businesses that are operated withing them. We need to pass bills that embrace and promote them not hinder them.
