QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

No circumstances.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I oppose raising the minimum wage because it can hurt small businesses, reduce job opportunities for entry-level workers, and increase prices. I believe wages should be set by the market along with policies like tax relief and job growth.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

My position is that Pennsylvania should prioritize cutting government waste by eliminating redundant boards and commissions, strengthening oversight to prevent fraud and misuse of public funds, and increasing budget transparency. Taxpayer dollars should be spent efficiently and responsibly. By improving accountability and reducing unnecessary bureaucracy, we can protect essential services while lowering the financial burden on residents.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state means the government cannot establish an official religion or interfere with an individual’s right to practice their faith, but it does not require removing religion from public life. I believe the First Amendment protects both freedom of religion and freedom from a government-mandated religion. The state should not favor one faith over another, yet it also should not be hostile toward religious expression in public spaces or silence faith-based perspectives.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Disagree

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

My position is that the United States’ relationship with Israel is vital for our national security and regional stability. I believe Israel is a key ally, providing intelligence, military cooperation, and a strategic presence in a volatile region. Supporting Israel also reflects our shared commitment to democracy, religious freedom, and protecting a reliable partner against hostile regimes, strengthening U.S. interests and influence abroad.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Disagree

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Agree

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Agree

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a practicing Catholic, guided by the teachings of the Church and the example of Jesus Christ. My faith shapes my values, including compassion, honesty, respect for life, and service to others. I strive to live with integrity, care for the vulnerable, and make moral decisions rooted in love, faith, and the principles of Catholic teaching.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

My position is that natural gas is the most reliable energy source to meet Pennsylvania’s growing electricity demand. It provides a steady, affordable supply, supports local jobs, and leverages the state’s abundant resources from the Marcellus Shale.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal of the criminal justice system should be to protect public safety, uphold the rule of law, and ensure justice for victims. I believe it should prioritize accountability, deterrence, and rehabilitation for offenders when appropriate, while maintaining strong support for law enforcement and the rights of law-abiding citizens. The system should focus on reducing crime, preventing repeat offenses, and promoting personal responsibility within a framework of fairness and order.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Agree

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

My position is that I do not support restrictions on gun ownership. I believe law-abiding citizens have a constitutional right to keep and bear arms, and that personal responsibility, education, and enforcement of existing laws are the best ways to protect public safety. Restricting gun ownership punishes responsible owners rather than addressing the root causes of crime.
