QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

I don't view strict separation of church and state as an absolute constitutional mandate—it's largely a modern interpretation of Jefferson's "wall" metaphor, often extended too far. I support preventing government from establishing or controlling religion (no state church), while encouraging faith communities and believers to offer moral guidance, engage civically, and serve as positive stewards in public life.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Repealing the Affordable Care Act (ACA/Obamacare) should be a top priority—it's bloated with mandates, subsidies, and government overreach that drive up costs and limit choice. We should also shift physician compensation toward value-based care: reward doctors for keeping patients healthy and achieving better outcomes, not just for volume of treatments under the current fee-for-service model that incentivizes sickness over prevention. (This promotes stewardship, personal responsibility, and true wellness.)

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Defunding Planned Parenthood stops taxpayer subsidies for abortions, saving ~$500M+ annually. Cut non-essential foreign aid to prioritize American citizens first—saving billions from wasteful or ideological programs abroad.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

U.S. immigration should prioritize those fleeing genuine persecution, skilled contributors to the economy, family reunification, and those who will assimilate, respect laws, and become self-sufficient. We maintaining enforcing strict security vetting and recent restrictions on high-risk countries.

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The Second Amendment guarantees our God-given right to keep and bear arms for self-defense, family protection, and a free state. As a Pro-2A conservative, I'll fight no-compromise expansions like red flag laws, universal background checks that burden honest Hoosiers, assault weapon bans, or magazine limits. These target the good guys while criminals ignore them.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. Protecting Parental Rights & Strengthening Families — Author bills to empower parents in education and healthcare decisions, defend pro-life policies, support pregnancy centers, and cut unnecessary regulations that burden families. 2. Tax Reform to Support the Nuclear Family & Young Families — Sponsor targeted tax relief: lower burdens for all Hoosiers, with enhanced credits, no tax on overtime, and property tax reductions—especially for young and starting families—to encourage marriage, children, and homeownership. 3. DOGE-Style Government Efficiency & Spending Cuts — Lead aggressive efforts to slash waste, eliminate bureaucracy, reduce red tape, and enforce fiscal responsibility—ensuring taxpayer dollars serve Hoosiers first, unleashing small businesses and prosperity without new taxes.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

People can judge me by the fruits of my labor—whether in public office or through the loving, faith-centered family my wife and I are raising together. Our four children, strong marriage, and commitment to Christ speak louder than words. Let my actions and results reflect true conservative values: faith, family, freedom, and service to others.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

My education and experience qualifying me for Indiana State Senate District 1 include: (1) Education: Graduate of Illiana Christian High School, Purdue University, and the Indiana Family Institute’s Hoosier Leadership Series—equipping me with principled conservative leadership skills for public service. (2) Professional Experience: Results-driven leader in Transactional Risk Insurance, advising on complex financial negotiations, building trusted partnerships, and solving high-stakes problems—skills that translate to effective, common-sense governance and fiscal responsibility. (3) Community & Leadership: Lifelong Northwest Indiana resident (St. John), GOP Precinct Committeeman, active volunteer at Living Stones Church (including Public Square ministry leadership), and over a decade supporting special-needs individuals through Faith Church’s Reflectors Ministry and TOPSoccer. As a husband, father of four, and America First conservative, I'm not a career politician—I'm a servant-leader grounded in faith, family, and freedom, ready to defend Hoosiers' rights and put our values first in the State Senate.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

If you're seeking a candidate who will boldly stand up and fight for the timeless values that built America—Faith, Family, and Freedom—then I'm your guy. As a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident, husband, father of four, and America First conservative, I'm committed to defending parental rights, protecting life, cutting government overreach, upholding the Second Amendment, and delivering common-sense leadership rooted in conviction and a servant's heart. VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My spiritual beliefs are in the Christian faith: I believe in one God, salvation through Jesus Christ, and living by Biblical principles. I am proud to be raising my family in the Church. My core values include honoring God, protecting life, strong families, personal responsibility, faith, freedom, and putting others first. America is blessed when we honor Him. God is good all the time.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No, I do not believe so. I don't believe mainstream media is helping unite us—in fact, many outlets seem to amplify racial tensions for profit. Sensational headlines and selective framing drive clicks, views, and ad revenue far more than balanced reporting does. This creates division, fuels outrage, and keeps people pitted against each other instead of addressing real issues together.
