QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I have no problem with Indiana's current restriction on abortion. I am a Catholic mom and I spent time being an advocate for women controlling their destinies by understanding adult behaviors have adult consequences. Over the last 35 years, I have seen women carry the stain and pain of abortion. Grieving for children they opted to abort, taking permanent solutions to temporary problems. I have high school friends who became teenage moms and some who opted for abortion. Many years later, the young moms stand by their decisions, they made it through the hardships, whispers and difficulties. I also have wept with women who, 50 years after abortions continue to have pain in their hearts. And I carry the sadness of a friend who was unable to conceive because abortion complications. I believe we have to evolve from pro-life to pro-living and ensuring state funded resources for unexpected pregnancies are fully funded--WIC, SECTION 8, INDIANA DIAPER BANKS, ADOPTION SERVICES. We are judged by how we treat those in need.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Disagree

I believe there is a meaningful distinction between marriage as defined and governed by religious institutions and civil law relationships recognized by the state. Faith communities should be free to uphold their own doctrines regarding sacramental marriage. At the same time, I support civil legal frameworks that allow consenting adults to establish protections such as tenancy rights, survivorship, inheritance, and shared asset recognition under the law.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Neutral

Religious liberty is firmly protected under the U.S. Constitution and has been reinforced in recent years through court decisions. The more complex challenge today is fostering genuine religious tolerance as it intersects with LGBTQ rights, healthcare policy, and the delivery of public services. Navigating these issues requires balancing First Amendment protections with equal treatment under the law, ensuring that both religious freedom and civil rights are respected.

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It means that the government operates from a position of religious neutrality, and the first amendment guarantees one's right to practice their individual faith.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

I am a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, and I believe a technologically advanced, agile, and globally ready military is the strongest deterrent to conflict and the surest path to preserving peace.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

It is the government's responsibility to ensure everyone has ACCESS to health insurance that meet their needs be it private, public or state-funded.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I support using demographic data, chronic disease trends, and local provider access to develop regional healthcare plans that prioritize prevention, preserve long-term health, and ensure access to the most effective treatments for serious and catastrophic illnesses. We must modernize primary care by expanding telehealth options for routine visits, streamlining medication management for urgent needs, and reserving specialists for complex cases. By reducing unnecessary prior authorizations and inefficient referral requirements, we can deliver faster, more cost-effective care. I also support expanding Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner training programs while encouraging physicians to pursue advanced specialization where shortages exist. These views are shaped by 18 years working in healthcare and closely observing how patients navigate the system.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would advocate for a rigorous review of government contracts and outside vendor agreements to ensure taxpayer dollars are used responsibly and that clearly defined performance metrics are met before funds are continued or renewed.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Immigration policy should uphold and enforce existing U.S. laws while welcoming individuals who seek to contribute productively to our economy and communities and who are willing to follow the legal process. Legal immigration plays an important role in strengthening our workforce, innovation, and long-term growth. At the same time, it is essential that our immigration system maintain strong vetting standards to protect public safety and bar/deport those who are of detriment to our country.

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

Teachers who volunteer to help protect their schools should be fully vetted, extensively trained by local law enforcement, and subject to thorough background checks — particularly in areas where law enforcement response times may be delayed. At the same time, the long-term goal for every school should be the presence of a dedicated School Resource Officer, ensuring that trained law enforcement professionals are on campus to safeguard students and staff.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

To protect public safety while preserving due process, extreme risk protection orders can serve as an important tool to temporarily limit access to firearms for individuals who pose a credible danger to themselves or others, including those in severe mental health or domestic crisis situations. Strengthening coordination among families, medical professionals, and law enforcement can improve early intervention and help prevent violence before it occurs.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. Establish standardized statewide procedures for drivers during traffic stops to enhance officer and driver safety, recognizing that traffic stops remain one of the most dangerous duties in law enforcement. 2. Eliminate property taxes for Hoosiers age 70 and older whose primary residence is valued under $100,000, providing meaningful relief to low-income seniors on fixed incomes. 3. Enact an Online Exploitation and Coercion Prevention Act to strengthen penalties for sextortion and digital grooming of minors, clearly define online coercion, require rapid reporting and preservation of digital evidence by platforms, and safeguard the privacy of child victims in judicial proceedings.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

There is no place in the United States of America for the use of Sharia Law as the basis for legislation or judicial decisions.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

My conservative values are reflected not just in words, but in record and action. Through my voting history on the Hamilton East Public Library Board and the Fishers City Council, I have consistently supported fiscal responsibility, transparency, public safety, and local control. My active involvement with the Fishers GOP and the Indiana and National Federation of Republican Women demonstrates my commitment to advancing principled, limited-government policies. I have long supported veterans and first responders, honoring service and strengthening our communities. As a 19-year member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, a former Sunday School teacher, and a Promise to Keep mentor, my faith and belief in personal responsibility, family, and community stewardship guide both my leadership and my service. I share my Conservative views publicly as member of the American Enterprise Institute and as an Ambassador for Project 21 (supporting the Heritage Foundation).

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am qualified to serve in the Indiana State Senate because I meet the constitutional requirements and bring proven leadership experience. As a Fishers City Councilor, I have worked directly on budgets, public safety, infrastructure, and responsible growth, giving me hands-on legislative experience at the local level. My background in real estate and small business provides real-world insight into property taxes, housing affordability, and economic development. As a veteran, I understand firsthand the values of service, discipline, and commitment to community. Combined with my community leadership and dedication to fiscal responsibility, I am prepared to represent our district with practical experience and forward-thinking solutions.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

NO

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

In the race for Senate District 31, I am the only candidate who is a veteran, an elected Republican serving in a city-wide capacity, and who brings real municipal-level governance experience. Voters should know that I offer proven legislative leadership, fiscal discipline, and a deep commitment to service. I have worked on balanced budgets, public safety, and responsible growth at the local level, and I understand firsthand how policy decisions impact families, homeowners, and small businesses. My broad background in local government, real estate, small business, and community leadership gives me a practical, well-rounded perspective that allows me to evaluate policy from both the public and private sector lens. As a veteran and long-time community leader, I lead with integrity, accountability, and a firm belief that government should operate efficiently and always in service to the people. I'm tough, responsible and relatable!

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a practicing Roman Catholic, and my faith shapes both my convictions and my character. I am pro-life and believe in the dignity of every human person from natural conception to natural death. The Golden Rule and the Ten Commandments serve as steady guideposts in how I lead, make decisions, and treat others. I completed a faith-based MBA program, where I saw firsthand that faith can be foundational to business, leadership, and relationships without compromising excellence or results — in fact, it can strengthen them. My faith is central to how I operate and how I interpret the world, grounding me in principle, purpose, and service.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

ABSOLUTELY NOT Every American legal voter should have a government-issued identification. How can you bank, buy alcohol, establish utilities, prove your identity without a photo identification?

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racially motivated extremists who seek to harm individuals, destroy property, manipulate institutions, or destabilize communities are a clear threat to public safety and domestic security. Our nation’s history includes painful examples of extremist movements using racism to spread fear and division. At the same time, one of the most serious challenges facing our country today is the broader erosion of respect for the rule of law, for law enforcement officers who serve honorably.
