Yes. Israel is our closest ally in the Middle East and the only real democracy there. We share intelligence, defense technology, and enemies. An ally under attack should be able to count on us, and Congress shouldn't cut its defense funding in the middle of a fight. Iran cannot be allowed to get a nuclear weapon.

Radical Islamist groups have killed Americans and still want to. Take every threat seriously, whoever makes it.
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Secure the border first, with modern technology and real enforcement. A country that can't control who comes in can't run a fair system for anyone, including the people waiting in line legally. Then fix the legal side. Streamline legal immigration, especially for high-skilled workers and the trades with real labor shortages, and cut the backlogs that leave families and employers stuck for years. Order at the border and a legal system that works are not in conflict. You need both.
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Cities shouldn't pick which federal laws to follow. At minimum, when someone here illegally is arrested for a violent crime, hand them over.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

The Department opened in 1980. Since then, spending per student has nearly doubled after inflation, from $7,079 to $13,701 (NCES). Seventeen-year-olds scored no better in 2012 than they did in the early 1970s, and 13-year-olds lost 14 points in math from 2012 to 2023 (NAEP). That's a lot of money for nothing. Send it to the schools, pay teachers more, and help kids.

Enforce the laws already on the books. Prosecute violent felons and straw buyers who get guns illegally, and keep repeat offenders off the streets. Back the police. Don't make it harder for law-abiding people to protect their families.
