QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Elective abortion should be allowed when there is a clear medical risk to the life of the mother, or when a pregnancy is non-viable—such as an ectopic pregnancy—and continuing it would endanger her health or permanently compromise her future reproductive capability. In cases of life conceived through rape, I am morally conflicted. I do not believe a rape victim—particularly a minor—should be forced to carry the burden of a pregnancy resulting from violence. At the same time, I do not believe the

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

Taxpayer dollars should be reserved for shared public goods—such as roads, infrastructure, and essential services—not used to support activities that conflict with the deeply held religious or moral beliefs of the taxpayers whose money is being used.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Disagree

I disagree with the restriction of transportation for drugs labeled as abortion-inducing drugs because many of these medications are medically necessary to treat miscarriage and to remove fetal tissue after a child has already died in the womb, often very early in pregnancy. Drugs such as misoprostol and, in some cases, mifepristone are routinely used to manage incomplete or missed miscarriages and to prevent serious complications like infection or hemorrhage. In these situations, the loss of li

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

I do not support denying service based on race or national origin under any circumstances. However, I believe individuals with sincerely held religious beliefs should be allowed to decline providing specific services that would violate their moral or religious convictions. Forcing them to do so infringes on their freedom of religion and conscience.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state means the government may not require or compel religious activity, and no one—especially military members, federal employees, or public-school students—can be required to participate in religious practices. At the same time, it does not prohibit the free and voluntary practice of religion. Individuals remain fully free to express and practice their faith by choice, without government interference or coercion.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C) The United States should remain focused on protecting our sovereignty and national interests, intervening only when there is a clear, imminent threat. At the same time, I support continued engagement with NATO and the UN, as these alliances help prevent regional destabilization, deter aggression, and counter the growing influence of blocs like BRICS without constant direct U.S. intervention.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

As cyber capabilities expand globally, any nation that advances faster in cybersecurity can gain strategic advantage if the United States does not remain ahead. Protecting military readiness, innovation, and technological leadership is essential to U.S. security. The CCP’s acquisition of intellectual property undermines U.S. innovation, while its military expansion—particularly toward Taiwan—risks throwing the regional and global balance of power out of alignment.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

The United States’ relationship with Israel is important due to Israel’s strategic position in the Middle East, its role as a reliable regional ally, and its advanced military capabilities. Joint defense innovation has led to cooperative development of technologies later used by U.S. forces, while intelligence sharing supports U.S. military planning, threat detection, and regional stability, helping deter common threats.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Agree

Yes. Islamic terrorism remains a national security threat. ISIS and affiliated groups continue attacks abroad and inspire violence at home, including the 2025 ISIS-inspired New Orleans vehicle attack. Al-Qaeda affiliates and groups like al-Shabaab and Iran-backed Hezbollah continue targeting U.S. forces and partners, while online networks enable recruitment and planning across borders.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I support the continued funding of Medicaid and Medicare for all those who have paid into these programs and rely on them. Looking forward, I support creating a new, voluntary, government-regulated opt-in program that exists alongside private care. This future program should not be tax-funded beyond oversight and regulation. Government-funded healthcare should not be considered until the national debt is eliminated and the country can truly afford it.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Disagree

I support the government tracking health data only for treatments paid for with taxpayer dollars—such as Medicare, Medicaid, the VA, and military healthcare—to assess costs and improve efficiency. Only treatment types and costs should be collected, with no personal or identifying information retained. The government is not entitled to the private medical records of citizens receiving privately funded care.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Disagree

People should not be required to pay higher tax rates simply because they earn more. Equal tax rates are fair and preserve the incentive to work hard, take risks, and grow the economy. Taxes should fund public goods that benefit everyone, while support for specific groups is best handled through philanthropy, allowing people to give to the causes they care about most.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

I agree. The federal government must cut spending to reduce the national debt. Last year alone, the U.S. paid about $970 billion just in interest—money that produced nothing for taxpayers. Over the last 25 years, the debt has increased by nearly $32 trillion, far faster than the previous 100 years combined. We must live within what we can truly afford before debt and interest bankrupt our country.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Create a surplus budget to pay down the national debt and reduce massive interest payments. Modernize the Federal Acquisition Regulation by raising single-purchase limits to cut contracting overhead and delays. Streamline government by consolidating overlapping agencies and programs. Support the Incentivize Savings Act to reward efficiency and reduce waste across federal spending.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Individuals should be allowed to immigrate to the United States through lawful channels with approved immigration paperwork. Legal immigration should allow entry for a range of purposes, including family reunification, education, employment, and asylum claims that meet established legal standards. Immigration policy should be orderly, lawful, and enforced consistently.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support sanctuary cities. American taxpayer dollars should not be used to provide government services or protections for non-U.S. citizens. Churches that choose to use privately funded, non-taxpayer dollars should be free to operate independently within the law, but this does not include harboring individuals or violating immigration statutes.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and returning authority to states and local communities. National education mandates have failed to deliver consistent improvements, while adding bureaucracy and cost. Shifting control back to states and schools increases competitiveness, gives educators greater flexibility in curriculum, and allows communities to build education systems that reflect local needs and priorities.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Agree

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American public education. Public schools must remain free from foreign influence and aligned with U.S. interests. Private educational institutions, however, should be allowed to form transparent partnerships with foreign entities to advance educational priorities such as research collaboration and exchange programs, provided they comply with U.S. law and disclosure requirements.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Government has both a moral and legal responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation online. The internet did not exist at the time of the Constitution’s drafting, and the rights it protects are rooted in adult citizenship. Safeguarding children from harm—especially in digital spaces—does not violate constitutional freedoms and is a necessary responsibility of government.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Firearm ownership by convicted felons should remain restricted, as courts have long upheld limits on gun rights for those who have demonstrated a willingness to violate the law. Beyond that, no additional restrictions are reasonable or constitutional to protect public safety. Guns themselves are not the threat—people who intend harm are. Law-abiding citizens do not pose a danger and should not have their constitutional rights limited for the actions of others.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I am a conservative with a strong belief in fiscal responsibility. I believe taxpayer dollars should be used primarily for core public goods, that overregulation increases costs and limits opportunity and innovation, and that parents should have the primary role in decisions affecting their children and families.

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Children are still in critical stages of mental, emotional, and physical development and are not yet capable of fully understanding or consenting to life-altering decisions. Medical surgeries or treatments that permanently remove or impair reproductive capability should be limited until legal adulthood.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Disagree

I personally believe marriage is a sacred and legal union between one man and one woman. However, religious freedom also means we cannot impose one religious definition on others through law. Government does not have the authority to define what is right before God, and the law should not compel adherence to a specific religious belief.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in strong family values, personal responsibility, and service to others. I am a Christian conservative who was introduced to faith through the Young Life program and was baptized at the age of 17. I believe God has a plan for my life, while also recognizing free will and the ability to change course if I fail to live as intended. At the same time, I strongly respect the Constitution and the right to religious freedom. I do not believe the government has the authority to impose my beliefs on others or interfere with an individual’s right to practice—or not practice—religion, regardless of whether their beliefs align with my own.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

We use identification for everyday activities like boarding a plane, buying alcohol, and driving a car. While voter fraud may not be widespread, I know it would be easy to vote under my name and then vote again under my daughter’s name without proper safeguards. Identification verifies that a voter is valid and eligible, and there is no reasonable justification for not requiring an ID to vote.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

If we are not going to separate biological males and females, there is no reason to separate sports by sex at all. Men and women are biologically different, and women’s sports exist to ensure fairness and equal opportunity. Allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports or occupy women’s spaces undermines those protections and takes away the opportunities, achievements, and safety women have worked for over decades.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

I don’t have a definitive answer yet. I need to do more research which energy sources are both available and realistically scalable to meet large-scale electricity demand, and I want to base my position on what actually works, not assumptions.
